Yes ! I went to Cloonan Junior High School long long long ago. I miss Stamford and again, I want to thank you again for putting up these old sweet pictures from Stamford. I grew up in Stamford during the same time period and have many lovely memories from Stamford. I grew up in north Stamford off of Long Ridge Road on Rocky Rapids Road long before it ended up being developed. We had deer, raccoons, beavers, and even wild bobcats way back then. A paradise for a little kid growing up. Smiles

Hello friend. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful memories with us. Your family is beautiful, and represents most families of that time and era. Watching the love and joy that your family shared, sparked long forgotten memories of my own Christmas' past, of my own days of innocence and joy, of family no longer here, but forever in my heart...Your video made me smile, made me cry, and reminded me of just how fortunate I really am this Christmas. Thank you. Merry Christmas! ~Gina xox

Good ! I will be looking out for them. I have seen pictures of Stamford and it has grown a lot. There was hardly anything there back in the 60s and 70s.

I remember Hubbard Heights golf course on our way to Cloonan ! I wonder if Cloonan is still there? My old elementary school Riverbank was closed up years ago but Westhill High School where I graduated is still there and expanded a lot !

Wow the Candito’s were on Hawthorne. We were on Cardinal Place. I am a friend of your Brother Bruce, when we lived on Fairfield Ave. I used to go to your parents house all the time and Bruce would play his music. I also knew Joann Zaccarola. What a small world.

Hi Pamela ! Actually i'm the cousin of Bruce & Johnny ! There were 4 John's in the family lol. Those two guys are the salt of the earth. If you haven't seen it already I'm sending you a link to another video I have of The West Side which includes clips of Johnny & Bruce & a small clip of Fairfield Court on my page. Thanks for your kind comments :) - John

Thanks Gary. Most of the people in the home movie are gone now and that's why I treasure them. About 7 years ago, I put all o them on DVD with the music from that era and made copies for family members. It gave the young ones a chance to see what the good ol' days were like. Something they might not ever experience. Thanks for watching and all the best to you Pizan ! - JB
