We realized the past couple years how overwhelmed our son gets at Christmas time so we have been doing less gifts also and it works out so much better. This year I also tried to tone down our Christmas decorations just a little to make it less overwhelming and over stimulating for him as well and it’s definitely helped a lot. We r in the middle of the blizzard right now near Buffalo and having to stay home and slow down the past couple of days has been such a blessing especially at such a busy time of year. Love watching your Vlog-Mas each year. Unfortunately, I have the cold as well going on 4 days now - we had to cancel our Christmas Eve Open House here, but we'll do something later in the week as most our friends are off as well - sigh. Hi Crystal! Don't know how I missed seeing this video! Just doing a lot of running around like you I guess! Well, I hope you had a very Merry Christmas! I feel like you did....a little under the weather on Christmas Eve but still got through with hosting. Christmas Day felt mediocre...watched a lot of Christmas movies then boom the day after slept most of the day. Just feel really tired. It seems we have been decorating since October, first running out to get items then November all the decorating and getting all the presents then December all the wrapping of presents, etc. It is a lot for sure! It's kind of sad that we run around so much then really don't feel 100% when it's here. Oh well, I'm still enjoying the Christmas tree and all the left overs! Take care!

Flu is making the rounds in my family this year. We have had to postpone our Christmas dinner until next weekend this year. My husband came down with it this morning. Merry Christmas, sweet Crystal! Stay warm!! It was -11 here yesterday, and we almost froze. We live in Tennessee and are not used to the cold. Thursday it went from about 50 to really cold yesterday morning. Thankful that it will be back up to 50 in a few days. Of course, when it's 98 and 100% humidity, I wish I could be with you!🤣My poor husband is a Miami boy. The cold really hurts him! However, it is so nice to be cold and have snow for Christmas. My favorite toffee recipe is the one with saltine crackers (there are several on Pinterest). It sounds awful but is very good. I have also seen one using graham crackers, which could be good. And yes, using a sheet pan makes a huge difference. 🎄💝
