The kids were so excited opening their bags from Grandma, so cute. I host Thanksgiving for the 19 of us and I give all my grandchildren a kick off to Christmas bag with Christmas PJ's, a Christmas book, a holiday shirt, advent calendar , a craft, Christmas socks and a special treat. They love it every year and its so fun watching their excited faces opening them! So special! So happy that you got to spend the day with your Mom, I'm sure she enjoyed it too! Enjoy the snow!♥️🌲❄

Hi Crystal, Oh goodness! I got goose bumps and became teary eyed watching n listening to the excitement of the kids opening up Grandmas gift. I miss that so much with my great nieces n nephews. FaceTime is great but not the same. Grandma did wonderful!! Love going shopping with you both. It was a lot of fun seeing what’s in the stores. There were so many terrific signs n decor. Watching the kids gave me tears, my baby leaves me Saturday ( grandson I've raised since he was one and now mom taking him back, won't even be close will live in AZ) def. So joyful watching the twinkle in children's eyes and listening to their laughter as they open up their Christmas presents. That just warms my heart! All of you will always remember this Christmas. For some reason I think it will be so special. It's not about having everything, as I know you realize that Crystal, but be ing on the water, and your children are so creative they will ALWAYS remember this Christmas when they get older and have children. They will say, " Remember when we were at the house on the water , the rental? It was so much fun there for Christmas!" I can just hear them! It tears me up thinking about them. Ahhhhh … Fleet Farm. So many Summer lake cabin memories … My girls collected the horses and farm animals’ figurines every summer while visiting our MN cabin. I also collected their candles for our cabin and their candy selection reminded me of Penny candy from my childhood shopping at Ben Franklin. Also adored The kiddos opening their Grandma presents made me so nostalgic for the days of Christmas joy and gratitude from the Grandparents. Looks like Grandma is a fun shopper! The dog barking, it's mostly a mystery what they are barking at. We have a shuzi that is going deaf, but he still goes out at night sometimes & thinks he hears something to bark at. We lived at a property that directly across us had a open field pasture, then a big woods behind it. When we lived there he would go out every night & bark for hrs. My husband decided the echo of his own barking was what he was barking at. I seriously think he was right.. so funny

I sure do miss those days, both of my boys are grown now, only one son is married and unfortunately neither he nor his wife want to have children, makes me sad.
