Christmas Is Starting Now At Disney World's Magic Kingdom | Jingle Cruise, Holiday Decor & Merch

That's right! Christmas is starting nowwwwww! We head over to Magic Kingdom to see the new holiday decorations (sadly we missed seeing the tree as it went up today) but we got to see a lot of decor and merch around Main Street which was very exciting! Then we saw the Holiday version of the Friendship Faire castle show! And lastly we got a fastpass to see the holiday overlay on the Jungle Cruise, called the Jingle Cruise! Christmastime might actually be our favorite time at the parks! We hope you enjoyed this vlog! Thank you for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

Tim, my husband works security at magic kingdom, he had no idea what I was talking about when I saw your tweet about the no picture thing. He said none of his managers have said anything about it, he even asked directly to one and was told, "I have no idea what you're talking about." The only way Disney should take issue is if you're causing a crowd to form or you're backstage. My husband says that guard was probably on a power trip. They can't stop people from taking pictures together!!

I saw a video on Twitter today of one of the Houston Astros, Jose Altuve, one of the team's superstars, taking off his own Astros cap and giving it to a young fan who was literally crying tears of joy because he was so happy his hero gave him the hat. (The Astros had their "I'm going to Disney World" parade today.) So MK security is going to say "don't do that"???? I've only been watching these Disney-related, fan-produced vlogs for a few months now as I basically have just discovered them. All of these various vloggers (and Tim and Jenn, I think are setting a very nice high standard on these) are HELPING Disney, Universal, and Orlando with showcasing the various attractions for the rest of the nation and the world to "experience the magic." I'm sure the Disney bean counters very well know and recognize that the vloggers do contribute to REVENUES. It seems that in all the comments people are always saying things on the order of "thanks, your videos are so helpful, they made my trip BETTER." Tim and Jenn in particular always do a good job of showing the inside of the various dining spots and gift shops, which is VERY helpful! Disney would do well to ease up on being so strict with these guys. Unless they would like to hire Tim and Jenn, assign them a professional camera crew and they can be official Disney ambassadors.

I'm glad to hear you post this because we are planning a trip and Tim's Disney hotel video series sold us on staying on property this time. The last 3 times we stayed in townhouses in Davenport. He is doing Disney a pretty good service. I would have went back to the townhouse if I wouldn't have seen the series! They should give him a free lunch not hassle him that's for sure.

I hope the all the Cast Members who work so hard throughout the night to get everything ready for the change over themes get properly recognised by Disney, they do a wonderful job. Especially the gardeners who have to have the plants ready on time. Not just at Christmas, but at all the different themes.

I asked my roommate who's a higher up in at Universal Security and formally Disney, and she said the guard had no right to tell you that you can't take pictures with others. It is literally the same thing if you told a family they could not take pictures inside the parks. TLDR; You do you.

Happy to see this! We hit AK on Halloween and there were already a few Xmas decorations up in the shops. We check in tomorrow so happy to see some of the decor up in MK. I'm sure the tree will be up this week as well since MVMCP starts on the 9th. I love Thanksgiving, but I have no problem with WDW putting up decor early to extend the season! Today I went to Animal Kingdom and they filmed the Christmas special there. There was a kid from Descendants (Jafar’s Kid) and a stage by the Tree of Life and a smaller stage by Pandora. I found out that the people in the audience get the Christmas hats, headbands, etc, for free and have to return them the next day. Today was also Rundisney and since my family is staying at the Polynesian, when the fireworks started the event at like 5:30 am my mom thought it was gunshots. It was hilarious.

Port Orleans Riverside is absolutely beautiful. It's relaxing, charming, and simply wondrous. If I may, let me recommend a few things. Don't over-maximize your time at the parks, and take a bit and enjoy the atmosphere once in a while. Take midday breaks at your hotel room. Try pin trading, I love it! Finally, don't spend every single second doing something busy. Have fun, stay with your loved ones and cherish each and every moment. I'm only twelve years old, been a mere twice (I'm missing it!) but I assure you, if you follow my advice and spend time with those you love, you'll have a great time. The parks are simply beautiful, and I'm sure you'll love it. Have fun, and bon voyage!
