CHRISTMAS JOURNAL IDEAS DAY 6 -- Fabric Ruffles and Jingle Bells

Lynn It’s okay! I Watch when you post! No need to apologize! It’s the most hurried time of the year! LOL we should take it slow, but we don’t! I like your Christmas journal. It looks fun! Let me tell you... I bought a book at a place called JUST A BUCK back in the 1990s and started keep a Holiday Record in 1994. My kids were little. There were Christmas plays, parades, food, trees, snowmen, and the “Go-Kart from Hell” story. I added Thanksgiving in the coming years, when we gathered together I would pass it around for people to sign. When we moved here, I set it out after Halloween and people who would stop in out here in the country would sign my book. Now we don’t host, but wherever we gather the family says BRING THE BOOK! It’s 30 years old this year!! I think it will be an heirloom one day, full of family records! Births, deaths, marriages, last Christmas cards from loved ones no longer with us. It is huge, I rebuilt the spine this year... it’s a TOME. AT THANKSGIVING MY OLDEST DAUGHTER SAID... “don’t leave it to me, I am terrible with paperwork,Mom.” To which my brother suggested everyone at my funeral sign it and toss it in my casket!!😮 LOL WE LAUGHED. BUT NOW... I’m skeered . 😂😂😂 Merry Christmas everybody!
