Gert, dit kerstconcert is een van de beste die ik je ooit heb horen spelen. Je beheersing van het orgel gaat verder dan iemand die ik ooit op dat instrument heb horen spelen. Absolutely beautiful, so much talent. In a warm Australian Christmas season l had to imagine coldness in a church there, but l do recall a 1989 and 2009 cold Christmas in the Netherlands

Ik studeer orkestratie. Schrijven voor orgel is niet eenvoudig: het is niet alleen Treble/Bass Clef. Er zijn veel registers/stops/stemmen in het instrument, en het hangt er echt van af aan welk orgel je schrijft. Elke kathedraal, elke concertzaal is anders. Dit is een enorme onderneming.

When I was 7 years old my great aunt set me at a pipe organ at the Methodist Church in Elderado, IL USA. She played it for over 50 years. I am now 74 years old and I still love the sound of pipe organs. You are the best I have heard over the ages and I really enjoy listening to your playing. I would like to know if your wife also plays the organ. She really compliments you and I love to see the 2 of you sitting together at those great organs. God Bless you.
