I'm truly in love with the very neutral items with just a color.... red or green like Liz did just looks so extremely high end!! TFS all you do!! Love to you!! I agree! The only thing I would even consider adding would be small, plain votive candles in clear glass (green or red glass, if you prefer) because they’d be low enough that they wouldn’t show, but would add a pretty glow when turned on (or lit, if you use real candles)

Enjoyed watching you put your garland together. That was a great tip re finding the center of your light strand and attaching that first onto your garland to help make the light bulbs more evenly spaced on either side. TFS!

Love, love, love the garland! This is so great...how you break everything into easy steps. I love to decorate for Christmas, but it can be a bit overwhelming unless I have a plan. I always place our Nativity on our mantle to keep it away from little hands. This garland will be a beautiful base for it!

Looks fantastic. I love how you flocked it without the messy flocking!! That stuff gets EVERYWHERE! If you were to add anything to the mantle I would put two smaller things on either side of center pick. But I think it looks terrific as is!

Absolutely love this. My TV hangs above my fireplace so I cant really decorate "up" I love that even though you can go up, you keep it very basic. I also love the stockings on each end. Every yr I try to space them evenly across the mantel. I like your way so much better. Definitely going to be doing it that way this year

I purchased two different types of garland to intertwine for this year as we'll. I'm sorry excited. I don't have a mantle but I do have two large openings that separate our dining room from our living room and plan to hang them there.

Beautiful!😁 ALSO cat tip: I used to have a tree (even small ones) in my home and tried ALL KINDS of ways to keep cats out. Few years ago I did similar idea with pine garland and hung it up with hook nails in the walls and now it hangs near the ceiling between my dining amd living room. It may not be traditional, but I can hang my ornaments without worry of cats getting into it and can see everything better from both rooms.😁
