so pretty, and THANK YOU... BUT I must admit, I'm glad I grew up in an era where the kids decorated a real tree and every ornament was glass. The lights were huge and multi-colored. They were exciting night for us four kids. It meant Santa was coming soon... As a teen, Mom got our 1st fake tree with all the color coordinating balls and lights etc. we appreciated it in a different way and of course had grown out of those exciting evenings we had enjoyed as children... everyone be safe this year

We stopped getting real trees a few years ago when we brought home a beautiful tree that came with a large family of spiders ☠ But we do have a special family tree that has mis matched sentimental ornaments and colorful lights. That tree is decorated by the kids and is in our family room upstairs. I will add the lights but the kids decorate everything else ❤

I love this tree but the first one you have away is my dream tree! I LOVE BIG TREES AND I CANNOT LIE LOL! Your tree is beautiful and thanks for all the tips. Here's one some people may like. I kept getting scratches on the back of my hands from fluffing the tree. I put on a pair of those thnner stretchy gloves that you get from Dollar tree and voila, no more scratched hands. if your tree is flocked you will get flocking sticking to the gloves. I just pull off the larger pieces and put the gloves in the tree box to use the next year. They also work great when you're cleaning or rearranging things in the freezer. They keep your hands from getting so cold. Have a wonderful day. I always enjoy your posts.

I want a flocked tree so bad but it just isn’t in the budget this year. I hope to catch a great sale after Christmas! Your DIY ornaments are definitely going to be a part of my tree this year! I bought several rolls of the burlap last year on sale after Christmas from HL that isn’t wired, so I can’t wait to incorporate it into my tree this year. I tried last year and it was just awful so I yanked it off and gave up. Great tip to use the garland ties. You might have saved the day. Megan, I just happened to click on your channel after watching Kathryn’s doitonadime. I thought I was the only one who fluffed their tree (so I didn’t get scratched by branches) wearing gloves and long sleeves.
