I have a question, hope you can help. I have a couple of jars of mincemeat, they are eleven months out of date can I still use It or should I bin It,? Valerie. 😊

If the seal has not been broken ie lid opened before or if there is a raised circle on the lid that is still depressed and also there is no mold on the surface of the mincemeat, then it’s OK. I make my own mincemeat and when following the previous I have been ok to use the mincemeat. I do add brandy to my mixture when making so that helps with the storage.
