Thank you very much for your comment! In fact, the process is very long. First you need to prepare a place for video shooting, do a manicure to make hands look neater, set the light :) Just kidding... Seriously, these medallions are a very simple job, painting, gluing rice paper and varnishing - about 40 minutes. The first layer of crackle varnish - 1 hour, the second layer of crackle, patina and varnish - 30 minutes. We wait 24 hours for drying. Final video recording of the finished work - 5 minutes.

1. Apply the Step 1 of crackle varnish. Dry it for 1 - 3 hours without a hairdryer. (This depends on the thickness of the layer.) Step 1 must become transparent completely. Do not leave Step 1 to dry overnight to avoid drying it out. 2. Apply the Step 2 of crackle varnish. Leave it to dry for 4-5 hours without a hairdryer. Fine cracks will appear on drying. If the cracks are not appear in 4- 6 hours, you can use hairdrier to give a boost.

On the crackle part...I didn't do so well. It looks 'dirty', not as nice and 'crackled' as yours....try and try again!

It depends on experience. Try making crackle on sheets of cardboard, when the result suits you, then you can do it on products
