You're absolutely right, cream cheese glaze isn’t traditional for Christmas pudding! I chose it because I’m not a fan of the rich flavor of rum or brandy in the classic version, and I wanted a lighter, slightly tangy contrast to the sweetness of the pudding. It also adds a festive 'snowy' touch, which I thought fit perfectly with the holiday theme!
