Yes Sherin,But we need to Bake it for longer (approximately 2 and half hours)at low temperature 320 F or 160°C .And we need to cover and bake it in water bath to prevent it from getting dry.Steaming is the preferred method for making plum pudding.

Good morning what is that brown soft sugar? Is that the muscovado sugar?

You can use Muscuvado sugar.The one I used in video is Tate and Lyle dark soft brown sugar . I checked the package and it's not written as muscuvado. But I usually use muscuvado sugar in making fruit cake and plum pudding which is great.

Bread crumbs are fresh and soft. I used a simple butter cream ,as I don’t have with me ,brandy to make brandy butter.

Yes you can use fruits soaked in rum to make this pudding. This is usually paired with custard or ice cream or brandy butter. As I did not have brandy with me, I used simple butter cream instead ☺️

Hi Maria,Yes, you can double the ingredients. For steaming, its better to use two pudding moulds instead of one ..as it will take very long time to get the center of pudding to get cooked properly if we use a single mould.
