I've done a lot of Christmas decor shopping at the thrift store. The first year I decided to do outdoor decorating at my apartment I needed a bunch of lights and I ended up getting lights and Garland from the thrift store and they did work. I also kind of do a theme even though I keep the decorations from year to year and will redo a theme. At one point I had three Christmas trees now I really only have the energy to put up one. I have also downsized to a pencil size tree so it doesn't hold as many ornaments but of course is easier to deal with. The past several years of done cream Gold light pink. I call it my chandelier themed tree because it's fancy. I picked up a lot of ornaments at a store called Kirkland's that's a home decor store I was originally inspired to do this tree by one of their in-store displays.

For thrifting I’d definitely recommend looking for local thrift stores, my style is very ✨grandma✨ so I go to church thrift stores usually. also eat before you go and have water/something to eat in the car because it’s usually a time commitment
