To all the people commenting about how disrespectful Chase is atm he’s a 16 year old boy for goodness sake! I have brothers and they all went/ are going through this stage! There is a part in everyone’s brain that controls voluntary actions (somewhere in the cerebrum) and in boys it takes a much longer time to be developed in boys, notice how teenage boys go through as stage at about 15-17 where they don’t give a care in the world about everything? Well most boys go through it. I don’t care for replies saying “my brothers a good kid and wouldn’t imagine acting like that” or “I would never permit my son to act like that” good for you for thinking your kid is perfect! However most boys go through this stage as this part of their brain doesn’t develop at the same faster rate as girls, I mean compare the other boys to Andrew, he’s a lot more mature but I’m sure he went through a similar stage as the other two did! So refrain from bashing these kids over the internet because it is kind of sick and I think you should spread your time doing something else!

Girl stop it. I could see if he was like 13-14 acting that way, going through puberty and changing but he's 16 and old enough to know how to be respectful. Even if he acted rude to others okay fine he'll learn his lesson but he shouldn't speak to his parents that way. I have brothers too but none of them acted this way when they were 16 but regardless their age and gender have nothing to do with it. I love how you defend Chase because "he's a boy" and "boys act this way" but you didn't even attempt to defend Karli (even though her behavior shouldn't be justified either but you clearly have a double standards thing going on)

Micah Sypert I guess some families take our humor as disrespect. We have always joked around this way and the kids know when to act more mature and when we are joking and having fun. And I can say that they know when we are filming..having fun is key so they do push the limit on what can be perceived as rude. But again...I’m the mom and they know it’s ok at that moment to act like that. Not sure if that explained it well...but I tried.

Our Family Nest I obviously don’t know you guys personally, but in most cases it does not look like you’re “joking around”. When the acts are in play, i don’t see the kids smiling or laughing afterwards. Like in New York when Chase wouldn’t let anyone else use the TV, from what i’ve seen they don’t keep their rooms clean, on there phone at the dinner table. Maybe we have different standards but those are all red flags to me. With all this being said, i’m not claiming to be perfect. I know they’re teenagers, but i feel like that shouldn’t be an excuse.
