I used to work at a Kroger in a small town. We had a few customers who were extreme couponers. It was neat watching how much money could be saved. Most of the people would buy things like massive amounts of toothpaste and deodorant, and donate them to the local shelters. ❤️

After my parents got divorced, mom took us shopping for our Christmas the day after. We got a LOT more of what we wanted & almost never spent our full $100 she gave to each of us. This was as a single mom on a limited (barely above minimum wage) income back in the 90’s. We didn’t coupon as much as this lady though 😂

A lot of this I can relate to, mainly the buying for all the events in the year in one sitting. Whenever I have coupons for things such as clothing, housewares, toys etc they often get bought as gifts for other people for events in the course of the coming year such as birthdays, new baby births, weddings

I spent very little amount during December but managed to give gifts to everyone friends, family and office mates. They thought I spent a lot in one setting, little did they know that I've collected the gifts all year round. We need to be practical nowadays, it's great to make people happy but better if you also do not compromise yourself.

I’m betting most twins don’t enjoy matching clothes or matching anything for that matter.
@candicecart9786
@candicecart9786 Жыл бұрын
Ummmm do u know any identical twins??? Most love matching (even into adulthood- heck, there are identical twins that even follow the exact same diet- down to the calorie and lifestyle so they won’t ever look different from each other).... which actually makes sense given identical twins are really 1 person split into 2 ppl (they are 1 embryo that split into 2)... u can even find identical twins separated at birth growing up very differently that have the same mannerisms and dress the same 🤷🏼‍♀️ Also it explains the connection identical twins have ... I don’t have a twin, but as a young child my BFF 👯‍♀️ who lived across the street was like the sister I always wanted and we were like fraternal twins and her mom would buy us matching outfits (and we LOVED IT)... and we did everything together... if she hadn’t moved far away when we were young, I imagine we might still wear matching outfits from time to time 🤣🤣🤣 had our parents been friends, I also imagine we wouldn’t have lost touch when they moved to another city (the relationship between our parents was def strained, but her parents (the better ones) still treated me like a second daughter and even spent money buying us matching outfits, accessories, etc)

I'd just sleep in and stroll around then, and I get what I get. I mean look at those stores, they're empty because no one is as insane as them, showing up that early. Most extreme couponers while having a massive stockpile are not hoarders. I am not either but hoarders are not organized. They have no clue what they have and save everything including newspapers, magazines, literal garbage. Couponers know what they have and it’s organized. The only issue I see is must have storage and time. Neither that I have.

It wouldn't be my cup of tea to shop the day after Christmas but she seems to be buying a lot of gifts that she intends to give during the year. Like the coat for her son's birthday and also Christmas Wishlist items that were not on sale before. Not all families do their gift exchange on Christmas day and with prices always climbing, it's not the worst idea to do last minute shopping when you can get the best prices. I'd use the word "overwhelming" and some items not necessary but this is a reality Tv show... Not greedy.
