Christmas Stew Cooked in a Pressure Cooker. Campfire Cooking. Kazan Afghan Pressure Cooker.

In this video, I head out to the woods on a cold and crisp morning to cook a big hearty Christmas stew over the campfire in my pressure cooker. It is basically the flavours of a Christmas roast dinner but cooked simply in one pot - easy and, because I use a pressure cooker, very quick!

Now that I'm able to camp again - and have been doing so, in order to make up for lost time - I still enjoy your content. I knew my feet had gotten a bit cold... Alexa says it is 15°F outside now with about 6 inches of snow on the ground... the pressure cooker was a truly wise choice for cooking in the cold... I have one of my stews reheating and I am smelling stew smells... stews are a favorite choice... different ingredients in detail, but I expect to enjoy mine as you did yours... enjoyed your little companion who visited you for lunch... keep yourself warm and full... in real and in spirit.

Good to see the return of the famous hat. I love my pressure cooker far to much to put it on a campfire. I'm with you on the sprouts. Hated them as a child, and now love the little babies. I'm only 6 seconds in and I have to say, that opening shot is one of the best on any channel this year. That food looked great, though sprouts are best eaten raw straight off the plant after the first frost.

Ha. I miss Tom. Good on you for letting Maggie rest. Consider a wagon. Lots of blankets. Maybe take Maggie on her last ride? Even if it's in the back garden, she will appreciate it. Camp out with her. That's what you two did together. My best friend, Breeze, died a year and a month ago. He couldn't walk on his own anymore, couldn't defecate without help, just towards the end we camped out in our backyard together. I sell this short here, but he was my best friend and I gave him a good send off.
