Such a great method for attaching the inner and outer fabrics, brilliantly done and so clearly explained. My daughter and I sewed up 5 stockings and this technique was just what we needed. Thanks you!

Thank you for sharing. I love watching tutorials. A tip I got off KZbin was if you're nervous snipping round corners use pinking shears instead. What a good idea using scrap fabric to make cards. I'm off to look through my stash. I knew if I kept it for long enough I'd find a use for it. X

That's so funny Cheryl... I have just made a couple of Christmas stockings today for my Niece's 😁. Great minds think alike and I made them with the same technique as you but appliquéd the names on in fabric. I haven't done one with the ties though and love that idea so I might give that a go next👌💝. I love the brush roll idea too and you could do the same with paintbrushes and coloured pencils and crayons..... brilliant ideas. Great to see you back Cheryl 😁👍😘

What about a freestanding stocking? I can’t hang my stockings because of 2 cats and a dog that like to nock them off the mantle! I want to stand them on the mantel instead!

Sammbalina good idea, not sure where you’d find a device but I hang mine on the door handles instead 👍🏻
