I cheat on the buckeyes. A bag of peanut butter chips and a can of vanilla frosting. Melt the chips and mix in the frosting. Spread into a 9x13 pan and refrigerate until firm. Cut into 1 inch squares and roll into balls. Melt chocolate chips and dip peanut butter balls in chocolate. Keep in containter in the fridge. Done. Easiest measuring you will ever do! I only dip half and leave half plain and keep them in the freezer.

@ I just made them up. I used one can of sweetened condensed milk for each and a foil or parchment paper lined 8x8 pan. I melt the chocolate chips and condensed milk together, take it off the stove and add the mix in. The white peppermint is one bag of white chocolate chips and crushed up candy canes. The heath is a bag of dark chocolate and a bag of broken up heath bars. The rocky road is a 9x13 pan, lined. One bag of chocolate chips, condensed milk, a cup or so of mini marshmallows and a cup of peanuts. It all depends on your imagination.
@krystalcook1317Ай бұрын
A good to my grandmother taught me many many moons ago was, when you are making anything that has something sticky and it calls for butter. Use the butter wrapper to coat the measuring cup for the sticky. Or melt your butter and pour into the bowl and then use the same cup to measure out PB, honey, sweetened condensed milk, etc. It truly makes life so much easier. I also have abag of butter wrappers in my freezer that we use for coating pans.

Hello darling. I just saw your video. It’s 2am here in Connecticut 12/5/2024 and I was looking up Christmas treats lol. The last candy you made is a combination of 2 very well known coconut candies. When I saw you make it at first I knew it was a Brazilian Coconut Brigadeiros also known as a Coconut Kiss. But then you turned it into a Raffaello. So the Brazilian one is made with Condensed milk, butter and coconut and the Rafaello is made with white chocolate, butter , coconut and one almonds in center. You combined both candies and got yours. Hope this helps you.

You can also add an 8 oz block of softened cream cheese in your peanut butter mix, then add everything else that you did. The cream cheese adds a whole other level of creamy goodness to it

To measure peanut butter, fill a measuring cup to 1 cup with water, then use water displacement to measure your peanut butter. So basically add enough peanut butter until the water level hits 2 cups. It's much easier and you'll easily get the exact amount.

I thought that you were going to drop the coconut balls in chocolate afterwards, and make almond joys. The buckeyes, (peanut butter balls), are called buckeyes, instead of peanut butter balls, because the peanut butter is exposed in that small are, making them resemble buckeyes, rather than the peanut butter being completely submerged in chocolate, making it into a peanut butter ball. 🤷🏻♀️
