Christmas tree farm rents live trees every year

Finding the perfect Christmas tree is a classic holiday activity, but one new method is drawing attention. Some farms are allowing people to rent live Christmas trees, keeping them healthy while they're decorated and replanting them after the holiday season. This also means people can rent the same tree each year. CBS News' John Blackstone has the story.

Glad there are sustainable options. Yes, the farm will continue to grow new trees, but someday hopefully we get to a place where it's not necessary at all. When my parents got older, the one tree that they continued to bring out was the ceramic one my mom painted many years ago. Now that my dad is gone, my mom doesn't bring it out anymore, but at least she goes to my sister's for their Christmas get together.
