I'm spending Christmas on my own and i love it. I'm looking after an abused, failed police dog from Romania. He is lethal to other dogs so won't even see any dog walkers as we walk in a farmers fields, with his permission Pouring all my Christmas love into him.... prezzies, extra games, he's currently slurping pate out of a Kong ball . He has a lovely home here and with people he''s a big softy despite what he's been through. Snuggles infront of the fire after we share a roast chicken later😊😊😊😊. Happy Christmas everyone.

Hi from very hot Central Victoria 🇦🇺. We did dinner last night. Christmas Eve. On the menu. Two roast chickens. Beetroot, pumpkin, feta, red onion. Green leaves. Salad. Asparagus, grilled in melted butter ground blake pepper. Sprinkled with crumbled pecorino Local chicken shop. In the bush. 2 kg of as yet untouched king prawns. 1kg thawed in the fridge. Tonight I will eat prawn and iceberg lettuce sandwiches. With home-made mayonnaise. Please pray for the volunteer fire-fighters and all emergency services here today. We have active and not yet contained fires in the west of the state. 😢 Merry Christmas to all.

It’s a massive team at Sandringham, cooking multiple turkeys for different groups in the house. Military precision! It is fascinating and sounds perfection. I thought Tyler Perry preferred the males to females, or so the story goes…….. I watched Princess Catherine’s Christmas Service from Westminster Abbey, it was beautiful and classy, just like her and her family. I loved the message Prince Louis put on the Thank You Tree outside the Abbey. He thanked his Granny and Grandad for playing games with him. I presume he was talking about Princess Catherine’s parents, they spend a lot of time with the Wales’s family. Someone spotted what his card said because he was holding it outwards, whereas Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were holding it inwards, so you couldn’t see what they had written. Have a great day Fiona, Graham and your children (now adults) + Lady Faith’s fiancée. The whole family together again for this special day. Good evening from Perth, Western Australia. We had our main celebration on Christmas Eve with seafood and pavlova. Today it was breakfast at the beach but a little cool and windy after a sizzling 100+F two days ago. In the afternoon my daughter and I went to local park armed with more seafood, more pavlova and a variety of cheeses, dips and relishes plus a bottle of sparkling red shiraz. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely. Home now with a cup of tea, tv and a box of chocolates.

In New Zealand most people have ham on the bone, glazed and served warm on Xmas day, with new potatoes and salads . Seafood lovers will have a seafood platter with prawns, crayfish and or smoked salmon or mussels if the budget is tight. We have cold ham on Boxing Day. We live in South Africa and Christmas is hot so my daing husband used to cook the turkey on the weber barbecue. Kept the kitchen from getting too hot. We are having gammon snd chicken as there are only 5 of us.

Yes, it’s 2 am here 🇺🇸 We have turkey in Nov and used to have both turkey and honey baked ham. We’re going off script with thick NY strip steak 🥩 and jacket potatoes. Of course, our breakfast is Quiche. For decades. The cheese makes sort of a lovely crust.

Excellent, next year we plan to do a brisket in the oven. We do it on the smoker in the summer but good in the oven. beef drippings are needed for a proper Yorkshire pudding, one of my favorite recipes from across the pond 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧
