I LOVE this as its in segments!! Easy to store and easy to put up! Genius. LOVE LOVE LOVE the ocean! (and the crabs). Now all you need to do is a NORTH POLE! Any more room in that home of yours! LOL

A North Pole would be sweet with the Lemax animated stuff! What I REALLY want is a Christmas train, but I would have to start from scratch for that. Unless I put it under the platforms so you only see it when it comes out the front... hmmm

Thanks! The "cats" are still kittens so we almost didn't set it up this year, but they were very careful and only knocked over a few trees over the entire season!

I just found out that my 80 year young mother isn’t doing the Dickens village this year. She is handing it down to me. Her favorite son!! Anyway, I am getting some ideas from you. I love the way you use the styrofoam. Thanks and I’ll let you know how I do. Thank you very much for the video.

Yep - exactly. I cut the styrofoam to shape and glue them down with caulk. Then "paint" everything with grout and just use white house paint so it looks like snow again. For the water I just paint the board blue and resin over it. I have to make a new platform this year so I'll film more details on making it =)

Thanks! He’s only six months old if you can believe it - he’s a huge kitten! His sister didn’t make the final cut of the video, but she was a big helper setting it up too. Just watched the village video in your playlist =) Love the animation, flashing lights, and especially the train!
