I was just going to suggest doing a little short for this as well - she's on top of it clearly! I'll watch that next!

Love love loved it. Gorgeous display, I love the backdrop, great idea. OMG im freaking over that greenhouse! I NEED that! So cute, haven't seen anything like it here.

Thanks so much!! I like the greenhouse but wish it had Christmas trees inside. Walmart has a version with the Christmas trees and I was considering getting that one and having TWO greenhouses 😆, I mean why not, I am a gardening channel 😆.

@@MonicaKatie do it! Or just stick a tree inside hahaga. If its not too Christmasy then leave it year round!

I'm very late getting here, but I wanted to stop by to say how much I enjoyed your bookcase Christmas Village. The wrapping paper glued down was super smart, and it looked wonderful. I'm just now starting to build my Village in one of my bookcases, and I wanted to watch how you did yours. I loved it. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

Awesome video to go with your great village display. It has been chosen as a "Village Video of the Month" selection on our website. It will be featured on the "Village Videos" page of our website starting May 15, 2022. Congratulations!

Thanks but what is the website? I tried The Village Collector but got an error that it doesn't exist. Also, would you link to my video?

In case youtube won't allow me giving a web address, you can find it on my youtube home page. Still having problems, just say so, and I'll try to find a way to help.

It's beautiful and has given me ideas for mine. Can I ask what you are using for the snow?
@MonicaKatie Жыл бұрын
Thank you 😊. Glad it gave you some inspiration. The first layer is the flat snow blanket as the base. I then add the loose flaked snow and in some spots I tear up that fluffier buffalo snow to give it that fluffy snow look.

How do you configure any wiring for your houses?! I am having the hardest time figuring out how to hide the fifteen zillion wires on my built-in bookshelf.😢
@MonicaKatie Жыл бұрын
In the video at 1:47 I mentioned that I use battery operated lights. No need to plug in. Each shelf has one string of lights. I think it’s 50 lights. I stuff some of the lights inside the houses to light them up. The rest are behind the houses and under the snow blanket. Usually the battery operated lights have a setting that when you turn them on they shut off in 6 hours. Then they come back on on their own in 18 hours. Hope that helps.
