We end our Christmas special this year by reading the fourth and last sermon by the catholic mystic Meister Eckhart.
The translation used here is by Maurice O'C Walshe in the volume "The Complete Mysical Works of Meister Eckhart", which is highly recomended.

" In one of his prayers, Meister Eckhart has said... and this is one of the rarest men that Christianity has produced. In fact, he looks a stranger in the world of Christians. He should have been born in Japan as a Zen Master, his insight is so clear, so deep, so beyond dogma. He says in one of his prayers, "Yes, I depend on you, God, but you also depend on me. If I were not here, who will worship and who will pray? and you would have missed me." And he is true: it is not out of any ego, it is a simple fact. I know God must have nodded at that moment, "You are true, Eckhart, because if you were not there, I would not have been here." The worshipper and the worshipped exist together; the lover and the beloved exist together. One cannot exist without the other, and this is the mystery of existence: everything exists together. I first read this sermon 40 years ago and can remember the profound effect in my heart when Meister Eckhart described how God waits in love for us like a fisherman with a hook! At 34 minutes you emphasize the importance of love. I would like to verify this, and how. At age 49 I was on the way to work, I just got off the train, and was walking to my office, while walking I had an urge to create a feeling of unconditional love, I nearly dropped this feeling as the required concentration to hold it was intense, but somehow I persisted, just minutes later at the most I felt a sense of being pulled into " ", very much like have a veil literally ripped of my head from the back of my head, I was absorbed into the One, my perception shifted to beyond all things and empty space, all things including empty space were appearances within me. I had no knowledge of any of this, I had never meditated, never did this previously, my ignorance was a blessing because I had no expectation. Key learning, god is unconditional love, we cannot mix oil and water, so like oil and water, unconditional and the conditioned cannot mix, so create the feeling of unconditional love and abide in that as often and for as long as you can, this is aligning yourself with god allowing for absorption to happen.

Yes I'd be interested in making a tradition of this. I kept receiving the 10 of wands in various positions, even doubling up with a clarifying deck. I even received it as a significator, and now I understand it! Was clarified with the magician (in this deck he's a seeking alchemist) and justice. Which goes back beautifully to the first or second sermon, describing the man who is just and therefore within it etc.. I love how God guides so beautifully. But if I were to rest (which I can't bring myself to days like this) I would miss it, or would take longer and therefore might not make the connection. Spirit box has said many times... on something taking days, months... "long reading"! The devil is the rushed feeling, when really what we are doing is where we're supposed to be, most often. Calming that feeling down with patience gets you through it. Why I like your voice and elegant accent/ way of saying things. Low, steady, yet articulate and with the highest information given. Just wanted to convey that... Then In tarot, mind is the air element of the suit swords. This the bible also introduces all these suits! Discernment, laurelled and crowned even as the ace being handed by gods hand out of the sky. It is also water, being that we are linked cast distances by touching the same body of water potentially, instantly. In the high priestess card, what is behind the pomegranate veil, but water. However, the water and sky are the exact same color, and suggests endless potentiality then. Just depictions of their horizons where they meet- Same color as the ground or floor as well. ( Interestingly outside, the clouds started moving really fast, now are back to very slow, although the wind is still forceful. A sign for this ❤) The more systems of symbolic foundation you open up to, the more amazing and awe stricken you will be left feeling. At first you'll be disturbed, ( maybe even disturbed, effected into seeking more into a thing) and then you'll marvel. paraphrasing from gospel of thomas. And then I'm pretty sure is the way it is said, leaving out the negative context of disturbed even more so. People these days are really being open into spiritually listening more, I am pleased to find. The sheep know the voice wherever the shepherd may be. He's now making us women and men. How wonderful! Wilderness... Like a jungle I say! "Do you know where you are??? You're in the jungle baby!! (Yes, scary at first, but where the hunter of lion hunger for knowledge naturally is!). Oh life is fun and beautiful Yup, then continuing, would rather be looked upon as a bad religious practitioner, with all this sex, drugs, rock n roll - rather than party with those where its found acceptable, without sight and usually sinful happenings, as to the motivation of being there suggests. I'd rather be in solitude to commune with Him in it, and finding like in Martha and Mary, He caters this and everything infitesimally so as well. The prophet is set apart first to know this birth of God, then must come back to reveal afterwards, finding God wherever and in whatever context the prophet may find themselves to be. Would be my answer... In my case, I've always been silent, withdrawn, and more an observer, I'll be still and feel more than be doing most the time. People see me as lazy and foolish for this. Here I am validated. These natures have to be adopted is how I take this. Always seeking him and knowing he's in everything, not constantly testing him like, if there's any spirits in the room, do this. No no Yes, fields are always being described and in teaching something, narrator describing etc. There definitely is a quantum component there. The structure of the atom is actually only a theory anyway, mudfossil university channel, he has a better, more simpler model, easily testable too at that, with magnets. There's not all these partials, only positive negative electrons forming checkered blocks, that are even visible in the collider. And the way everything revolves to the right, rarely one will go opposite, and is scrubbing- probably from smashing shit together but yeah lol. Science and God are coming together full circle nicely, we have to open this door because all proofs and associations are needing the proper perspective attention to be revealed. Look at this strange detailed knowledge of lightning (unobservable phenomenon until recently) and it's effects on things. (And, I just said everything is electrons... I type as we go!) And I was just wondering if I'd find validation for the state I'm experiencing, as he keeps saying don't do that lol. The tower card, sudden enlightenment rocking foundations and higher institutions into going down... Zeus's bolts, carried by Aquila the eagle ( like in so many flags) are like neuropathic zips- this is how fast he will put images for examples, or steer you in your searching, if you slow down, looking and really feeling all the Google searched previews, you'll always be finding something profound- later to not be found anymore, I swear! Just read the repeating b.s. and it's easy to find what's special. So confirmed! We need to really accept mudfossil university's Harvard instructor's insight on new physics, and solve pressing world issues concerning not destroying our planet and that can be easily achieved and affordable I really feel it will be. Black and white checkered floor says it's already everywhere and is fundamental, only to be uncovered fully. Wheel of fortune and the world card. Me, naked, floating/ flying as the world card, having answered the sphinx, archons whatever. 21, the last card. Like black jack. It couldn't be presented in any more lucky or blessed/ graced way than this communication with antiquitous texts that always happens!! Literally confirms me the very next section, and until I really contemplate if I'm verified or not, then it being next in text. Unbelievable. Not to be braggy, it's just the ultimate for exciting! Can I get a witness? And I know this voice of the shepherd, very Hermes trismegistus in the literary sense of conveying another's postulating. And knowing strange science in even stranger detail, said as if in passing, not to be found probably again. Yup. Gods gnosis is everywhere and I'm always saying, it's the same guy. How it boils down and will be consolidated it is this exact truth, I'm convinced this. And I specifically testify that I'm unhindered by time in the most miraculous of ways every moment. Eckhart is the first to suddenly confirm this. And I just said tonight, that even when evil doers or smack talkers on spirit box speak now, I only received god's symbolic meaning and communication, truly leaving chaos warring people's with absolutely no sense being made of what they say whatsoever. They were subpoena'd, they were forced to reveal their everything to the heavenly gathering I see around me, and have been sentenced already. The problem lies in our unified peaceful coalitions taking the full step of not just making universal laws and regulations, but now fully being able to enforce them! The law must be able to be enforced, non of this passive.. hey, you can't do that. Please don't... Come on now I'll share a very bizarre, but still always occuring phenomenon, relating to leaves on branches in the human tree, say. They can hear me on the news, in old shows, Johny Carson is having a blast, new talkshows know when I tune in. They hear whatever it is I'm ranting, even unrelated, and respond bodily. And if I watch the news re-runs, 3 or 4 a night, they hear me all those times. Where time is now an un- hindering factor, the leaves all turn up together facing one way... Otherwise, these statements don't make much tangible sense at all, while "the author" mentions in passing with ease, to be revealed somehow else for a concrete oneness. They are probably to be hindered by time, so their present conscious awareness might not include these exchanges. To be transformed into later, existing in the subconscious perhaps. Because, I used to have to point this out everyday. Like are you not aware of this miracle? What does this look like to you. I think only to be experienced in eternal heaven on earth, which is closer and closer everyday as my experiences are showing results of. Very strange yes, but it is there and why I share Whore of Babylon in red dress ( I used to be Aquila the red but didn't want to put some off. They just kept telling me I'm red lol) Takes on a new meaning. ( Seeding from many natural things.. as Nirvana the band lyricized, "nature is a whore". More like bees to a flower. Flowers have all the sexiness going on but have no legs- locomotion. I am legs lol let's go) As I ride the beast? This must be the teacher master being all the same guy... And still present in the world right now even. Yup. With my cup, ace of cups flowing over as a fountain. Of no concern, I argue, that I drink. Not relevant to the highest and utmost. And with God present, I have many tamed beasts ( strength card, for her lemisat on her head is only found otherwise on the magician, bringing above below. All these lions with their wavy tongues can't all mean untamed lustful nature.... Symbols that are everywhere make nice borders for this fountain always regenerating. The water lilies sit atop the water, not getting wet or sunk like a ship. The yods look like falling yellow leaves, but in this card they are blue. Not water drops, strange. I don't know Fatherland earth, caught! Egyptians signified earth as male, and are the only ones as far as I know. Yes, I knew His voice, and recognize when and where it goes!

His voice/ spirit speaks to me in different ages sometimes, super cute yeah, orphans, or even husbandly with normal husband needs... Any past prophet, apostle, king... He can be it all. Living color band, "cult of personality", check out those lyrics, and the eye on dudes jacket, rainbows. Changing my name to denote that even if a technicolor living rainbow (that at first looked like a stick in my eye! Became a beam...) Out of my iris, but could not come outside my pupil to this world, was otherworldly and needed coaxing, it had consciousness. Then a separate time soon after saw a 4 petaled cross as my apple shine.. then im like oh like that mystery, a lot found in the "book if the dead" collections... or pyramid texts too. Various time periods. And now Eckhart. I'm very interested I'm more mystical writers! I also started with sufism philosophy and poems too. I like all your genres you touch upon, will be busy watching many, Ill try not to hog up your comments!

Meister Eckhart is neither a mystic nor a philosopher, but an initiate who reveals a profound gnosis whose lineage probably comes from the Hospitaller and Templar orders of chivalry, and whose neoplatonic conceptual sources are Proclus, Damascius, Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite among others. This is why it is extremely difficult to catalog his writings. One of the books that illuminates this link to chivalric orders (a matter of extreme importance for medieval esotericism): Bernard Gorceix - Amis de Dieu en Allemagne au siècle de Maître Eckhart. Albin Michel, Paris 1984. Eckhart may perhaps be the only window, an outcrop that allows us to glimpse the closed, initiatory and esoteric world of these orders, which at the time were suffering harassment from the inquisition.

@@TheWorldTeacher I don't understand the relationship between the question and what I wrote. But whatever the reason for believing, it is not proper for the soul to remain only in a state of belief. The word believe is the faulty translation of the ancient word "pistis", and "pistis" is not to believe but to know. Only someone kept in an infantile state remains in belief for a lifetime. Hence the fundamental spiritual question is that of knowledge and not that of mere belief that quickly turns into superstition.
