Warmest wishes from the UK.... Christmas is not always the best time for everyone I know that since loosing my mum its fallen apart. However love listening to the Elivis stories hes still my favorite entertainer and still at the top of my Christmas tree. I try to console myself that things could be worse so I thank my lucky stars that Im not liviing in Ukraine / Syria or being homless I have food on the table and a roof over my head.

Got to see Elvis live 6 months before he died. The day in 77,we all were in the family car, came on the radio and my Dad pulled over the car, and we all just wept. My heart felt like it literally fell to the bottom of sadness. But Elvis gave so much to make us all happy and so I went forward with in hope and love. Again Happy Holidays, I love what you do. Idk if the christmas lights were on in 1977 but the nativity scene was up because on December 27, 1977 I was there! They were letting ppl walk the drive to the meditation garden to see the graves. It was really heart wrenching. Cried my eyes out😢

I imagine Christmas 1977 was sad depressing. I was 5. I would play Elvis records and I was sad. I'd look at pictures of Elvis. I knew he died and it was very sad for me and us. I lived in Barnsdall Oklahoma. It was very depressing for me at 5 years old. I remember back then before Elvis died And I think back to a memory and I think Elvis was alive. How I wish I could have met him and gave him a hug.

Looking mighty spiffy today Danny! Glad your holiday is going well! Spending Christmas with family is what it's all about! It's a time of missing my special guy, so I know how you feel. My husband was like Elvis, he loved Christmas and got all excited and of course overspent as much as I did😂😂 He started decorating as soon as possible and we had lights everywhere! ❤ Our son is the same way and his son is also. That's where my joy comes from watching them get excited. My grandson fixed breakfast for everyone Christmas morning and I'll be making Christmas dinner in Christmas Eve this year, because his other grandaddy is dying from the same thing my husband did, darn cancer! So I'll eat breakfast with them and watch my great granddaughter open her gifts. We do gift exchange here Christmas Eve like we did when my husband was alive. Merry Christmas to you and Theresa! 💗💗💗
