I was BRUTALLY beaten over and OVER again as a little boy by my father and for many years after. After those beatings I would be in my room all welted up, bleeding and crying. I would listen to America on the radio and these songs took me away in my mind to a place where there was no more pain. I am so very thankful for this video. Watching this brought me to tears thinking back to those very hard times in my life, and it is healing at the same time. I have since learned how to play some of these songs on guitar and it makes me somehow claim them for their comfort that they brought me then and now. Once again THANK YOU for this video. I cannot tell you what it means to me.

I wouldnt say "underrated". Back in the 70s/early 80s they were extremely popular and got a ton of radio play. The fact that they are still touring tells me that they have a nice sized fan base. Not everyone has the taste for this style music (soft rock, I will call it), and those of us that do enjoy this music do not necessarily enjoy the so called "music" of today. In 1977, America played at West Texas State University in Canyon, TX. First concert I ever went to. The venue was more intimate, the playing was great, and oh the memories!

I listened to America only after I finished college, more precisely in 1985. It sounds great! Music of the soul.

Its 2022 and I still love listening to their songs, love those live variations and instrumentation accents, here in the Philippines, the songs are still very popular in band jams, karaoke and pipe in music. Would be great if they can still play here live after the pandemic.

Have fallen back in love with this music. Purchased the CD of this concert and have 3rd row seats to see them in Dallas in May of 2021 for their 50 year celebration tour. Grateful for this opportunity.

America is one of my favourite bands, truly the 70's & 80's music were the best of all. I'd like any decade past or future can match that.

It’s incredible how good they sound live. Looking and sounding better every year. Thanks for posting this concert Edu. I’m tired of those who say this band is underrated. To who? Not me and not billions of their fans.

Listening & watching this in May 2020. America’s music is eternal. It has always been my go-to music to relax my mind. Brings back good old memories. And Gerry’s voice... hasn’t changed a bit. Very distinctive voice & perfect for pop rock songs. Dewey is always perfect on folk rock music. Together they create that unique music only America can deliver. Thank you for your music, America! Greetings from Canada! 🇨🇦💕

There are many fans even outside of the US. I recalled my memories when I had dates with my girlfriend. We heard America in my car. From a fan with no name of Japan. Thank you for giving us a great memories.

Three, now two of the best of all time; much more than just the 70’s. For those of you who lived their beginning, there is a melancholy that we can’t do it all over again; but a gladness that we lived in the very best of times.
