They got rid of all the markers but kept SWISS MADE on the dial. Detracts from the elegance in my opinion.

The loss of the markers seems to be a point of contention!

I own this watch. The SWISS MADE is barely noticeable. However, one thing that I think would have been better for this watch would be to just flat out remove the seconds hand. No real need for it.

They got rid of all the markers so you know the exact age of the moon, but only the approximate time! Gorgeous, but highly impractical. By the way, regarding the original video, the two moons on the Moonglow aren't "one for waxing and one for waning." All moonphase complications have two moon faces, simply because as one cycle ends at 3 o'clock, the next one has to be cued up at 9 o'clock. Both wax, and both wane...it's a two-month trip around the dial.

On the one hand I love this piece but I’m not convinced by the brushed casework - very toolish looking for this dial. Also your comments on the size are spot on. I really do want an adventure dial in my collection at some point, but this is not going to be it.

Fair enough, it certainly won’t be for everyone!

I just wish they added some markers. I know they went for the clean look but it just would be an easy buy for me if it had a more traditional time marker and they could of kept it subtle still

The clean dial gives the dial and moon room to breath. However indexes would provide more legibility. I think it’s a question of preference here.

Sellita SW200-1 has 38h power reserve, for the dial i have a mix feelings... something is missing... markers... maybe ^^

Hard to tell time with this one, but great piece of artwork on the wrist

The trade-off for legibility is a small price to pay for they piece of art that is the dial on our opinion!

They could have used slightly larger stars (that glow?!) for the indices. Subtle but still very functional. I love the look of this watch, and if i needed to know the moon phase constantly, it's a hard yes. But as a time telling tool - through the day, it's difficult to tell the time, so it's a no for me.

Exactly.

Case design is too rudimentary and the lack of any dial furnitures is just another big turn-off.

NOBODY wants a butterfly clasp. I have yet to wear a bracelet with a butterfly clasp that I can correctly size.

But when they’re right they’re sooo good.

And how are you going to be able to tell the hour in the night? this is suppose to be an elegant watch, thus used during night events as well. but it has no readability
