This is hands down the best PC build video I've seen. straightforward, and very specific about every detail. I've seen to many videos that they skip over showing off the actual case and just yadda yadda their way through it without showing off the entire build till its finished. I think PC case companies should pay you for showcases like these. this is perfect and id love to see more.

I typically enjoy watching pc builds videos in my spare time. From your video, I learned that my ram had been running at a slower speed for the entire time I've had my build. I never went and changed any of the ram settings in the bios. Thank you for literally helping me realize just how dumb I have been.

This it the first video in about 20 I've watched you ACTUALLY filmed connecting the fan hub/controller into the sata + motherboard pin slots and showed location on board. All the other videos show the pin areas and talk about 5v vs 12v but never bother to film actually plugged in everything to mobo (in case on top of that). Thanks for going over the top to bottom, I was helping a friend build their first PC and building a new one myself post boxing day sales and this REALLY showed him the mapping of the mobo and how to lane cabling/find pin slots on board. I know its an older video, but very relevant information, high five and good vibes. Have a great 2024.

No stupid music in the back, well articulated, and the cadence of your speaking is perfect. Very easy to follow. The only flaw I found in this video is that you did not specify at all the fan direction when installing both the AIO cooler and the Lian Li fans. The liquid cooler should draw air from inside and blow up and outward from the case. Which direction you put the fans (flipping over) determines which way air is drawn in or pushed out. This is very important and should have been covered. Great video though! I bought this case and you helped me figure out what the heck that SATA cable is that goes to the fan hub on the back of the motherboard mount. I also removed the internal hard drive mounts. Space was too tight for manipulating the power supply cables.

Hi, A quick heads up if you plan to use the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 with the 5000D. It uses a thicker rad than most AIO's (38mm). As a result it could not be top mounted with my MSI Z490-Pro A. It would not clear the VRM heatsink, it literally came down to less than 2mm of clearance . I did manage to to mount the 360 at the front. I prefer tubes down but that was a stretch. If your AIO uses a thinner rad you will be fine. None the less I still really like the case and might change the AIO and keep the Arctic for a future build.
@suhben Жыл бұрын
This comment made me realize how stupid I was for not researching into how thick the rad was before buying. My Arctic Liquid Freezer 360mm is being shipped rn. I might have to just cancel it and opt for an AIO with a slimmer rad... Pain
@davapod Жыл бұрын
I did end up top mounting it eventually by replacing the one fan that wouldn't clear the VRM heatsink on my mobo with an Arctic P12 Slim PWM PST fan (they are inexpensive). Hope this helps.
@suhben Жыл бұрын
@@davapod That helps! I'm not that creative being newer to PC building. Had I saw this comment reply, I would have 100% done just as you recommended. I ended up panic ordering a DeepCool LT720 earlier this morning. So, I have 2 coolers in transit. Besides the fans, I am hearing great things about the DeepCool, so I might stick with it and send the Arctic back out of curiosity for the newer cooler

I just built in this case and I had some issues I was hoping to figure out by watching this. I have an x570 Aorus Master mobo and I'm using an EVGA 360 AIO. Where the cpu power connects is in the same place it is on this B550, but my power cables are so tight under the back AIO fan, that they prevent the fan from turning. It seems you have so much more space than I have below the top of the case and the cpu power connection. I feel like my mobo is too high, but the standoffs are all in the right place so I feel like there's nothing I can adjust. I unplugged the fan until I can figure it out. That being said, I absolutely love this white/black build. I also appreciate people still taking the time to do thorough build tutorials! Subbing for more!

Clean video. I’m using the stock fan hub since I’m not using rgb fans. Would anyone recommend using a 360 AIO on the side as intake versus the top as out? I’m guessing the side would offer cooler cpu temps but could increase the internal temps. However, with all of the fan slots being used, I wouldn’t think it would make that big of a difference.

I wouldn't have put back the filter at the top of the case, you are obstructing your AIO air exhaust. Plus exhaust fans prevent dust from getting inside much anyways...
@ChristopherFlannigan3 жыл бұрын
In some cases I would agree with you, but if look closely at the top you will see there is a massive hole at each side of the top panel (which itself has large holes in it) so I would regard the filter as an essential part in the top of this case. Also unless you run the fans 24hrs a day dust will get in when they are not running. Removing the filter would improve temps by 1 degree, so not worth it.
