Hi! My name is Christopher Odd and I’ve been playing video games on the internet for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Dragon Age, etc). Recover and equip powerful loot for each class of hero for their battles and expand the survivors' camp to reinforce each adventure through the loop. Unlock new classes, new cards, and devious guardians on your quest to shatter the endless cycle of despair.
Infinite Adventure: Select from unlockable character classes and deck cards before setting out on each expedition along a randomly generated loop path. No expedition is ever the same as the ones before it.
Plan Your Struggle: Strategically place building, terrain, and enemy cards along each loop to create your own dangerous path. Find balance between the cards to increase your chances of survival while recovering valuable loot and resources for your camp.
Loot and Upgrade: Strike down menacing creatures, recover stronger loot to equip on the fly and unlock new perks along the way.
Expand Your Camp: Turn hard-earned resources into campsite upgrades and gain valuable reinforcements with each completed loop along the expedition path.

Hey Christopher, about the Beacon: both you and the enemies get the 20% attack speed, so it doesn't give the enemies any edge over you. Just makes the fight go faster. Basically it's the same as without the Beacon, just sped up by 20%. Just makes it so you can get more done per day.

Theoretically that's true in a 1 on 1 but if there are lets say three enemies then the total attack speed boost the enemies have is 60% compared to your 20%. Edit: Literally as I un-pause the video he describes that scenario... I feel kind of stupid.

One thing I learned from the demo: the green/black spheres at the top of a card indicates where it can be played. All black: at least one tile away from the path. Half green, half black: adjacent to the path. All green: on the path.

The beacon raises attack speed for everyone, so all it really does is make the time go faster. It doesn't make enemies any worse, everyone is doing exactly the same thing they would normally do, but 20% faster.

Actually it's good to use because if you go through the loop faster that means less days are passing. Wich means that less enemies can spawn per loop.

Oh, slight gameplay spoiler ahead: if you time when you use the card to destroy the goblin camp correctly, you get to fight a special dark slime! (Specifically, if you destroy it after a goblin appears in the camp, but before it makes it to the road.)

Attack speed to all enemies from beacon is beneficial for a player. It just speeds up the battle and doesn't affect turn economy. The outcome of the battle stays the same, but the time spent decreases.

At least you pronounce 'lich' correctly. A lot of people say it should be 'like' because it comes from the German 'lichen'. But the word 'rich' comes from the German 'richen' too, and we don't pronounce it with a hard 'c'.
