Thanks Christophe. I'm a new subscriber to your videos and want to thank you. They are extremely well produced, helpful, and very enjoyable to watch. The Dettifoss waterfall is incredible! Your images are just wonderful, showing the waterfall's power and also its subtleties. I really liked your abstract close-ups. I'm also drawn to your videos because, like you, I'm in the process of switching from a full frame Canon DSLR to the Fuji X-T2. I've chosen to do this for some of the reasons you discussed in your "switching" video-smaller size and weight, cost, and stunning images. Many thanks again, I'm looking forward to future videos from you. Cheers, Bob.

Many thanks Bob. Such a positive comment motivates me to do more videos. The close-ups are also my favourites from this shoot. Cheers!

great place the other side of the waterfall :-) when we were there, that road was closed - btw, there are more waterfalls along that road, so definitely must go back :-) - great videos/photos and that filter system is very cool!

Thanks Gyorgy. Dettifoss is really amazing! I know there was Selfoss somewhere around there too, but we called it a day after the long drive from the South. That hot tub was just too tempting. XD This was just my first time in Iceland, I will definitely go back.

Beautiful photos! Do you know if the Nisi 70mm filter system will work with the fuji 10-24? I'm trying to decide on the best filter system for the fuji xt2 with kit lens and wide zoom. Would like to keep my kit as small as possible.
@ChristopheVanBiesen6 жыл бұрын
I am using the 100mm system. Not sure if the 70mm will fit. Check the Nisi website for more information.

Superb video : stunning images once again. Your audio recording is very impressing regarding the shooting conditions !
@ChristopheVanBiesen7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Julien. Which picture is your favourite in this video? The external audio recorder definitely helps a ton when recording audio near to a waterfall. In one of my first videos I posted here on KZbin, I went to my local (tiny) waterfall and I did not have the recorder yet. You can really notice the difference.
@julienbeltran37147 жыл бұрын
I can't pick one single favorite picture : I like the variety (long expo, abstract long expo). Actually, the most impressive to me is the drone footage. It is a great addition to landscape photography. I am waiting for my 10-24mm (ordered for black Friday) and hopefully there will be one or two "automn weekends" left before the winter :) Just a suggestion : of course when people think about landscape they think wide or ultra wide. But I like to include some telephoto pics : sometimes the compression is a great effect. For example I sometimes use a 58mm f1,4 Voigtlander (a portrait lens) for landscape and maybe the 55-200mm fuji (future acquisition). looking forward to your next content...

Your videos are so qualitative high wow! Anyway i have a fast question: its worth to buy an X-T1 or an X-T10? That's why i don't have so much money to spend on a XT-20 or 2 so i prefer to buy a lower price body. Thank u very much and continue to provide us with those high quality videos that are amazing!
@ChristopheVanBiesen7 жыл бұрын
Thank you, I am doing my best at creating something worth watching. ;-) I never had the XT1 or XT10, but I have some friends who shoot with those cameras and they seem quite happy. It depends a bit on what camera you already have. If you don't have any, sure, go for an XT1 or XT10. You might even find it at a better price second hand.
@edqedweaqd7 жыл бұрын
Christophe Van Biesen yes i will take it second hand for sure, thank u so much for your advices!

Christophe Van Biesen my favourite is the long exposure with just a small area of the rocks on the left of the image, it works really well.👌
@chrislj28907 жыл бұрын
Fantastic! My only question is, just how are you going to surpass this series of videos, lol?
@ChristopheVanBiesen7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Chris! Oh, no worries, I have some more ideas up my sleeve (and already a couple of trips planned for 2018). Iceland is quite a unique location and extremely inspiring for a landscape photographer, so everything is a bit easier. I'll do my best keeping up with the quality of the videos for my next trips. ;-)
