The way you work reminds me of those old ZhangLu videos. The brush and portrait workflow is almost identical completely and it keeps me engaged cause I've always wanted to watch more than the same 3 videos of his. Thanks for showing your process.

It's interesting that you start with a broad, "hazy" brush. Also a way of going from the big picture to the detail. I usually only know the big shapes to small shapes method. Thanks a lot 🙂

You make digital look so easy, great brush selection and amazing delicacy in strokes! I've binge watched your content the past week, unhealthily i might add. It's becoming stressful trying to emulate everything digitally. I draw a lot like you on paper, which is why when i saw your channel i gravitated to it straight away, but i just can't get the same results on my iPad with procreate.. I'm missing something.. or a lot of things.. I've drawn multiple pictures and given up in the painting process.. i don't know how to finish. Maybe it's something to do with the pressure i'm using, or some settings i can change, but i'm stressing out continuously re drawing the same picture or failing my new ideas..
