I'm in total shock. This is literally the perfect song with the perfect message melody lyrics everything. This song is everything. I don't think it started to really hit me until after I recorded, listened again and again, and stared into my ceiling imagining stars. Jin's voice is as clear as the night sky dotted with all the beauty of the universe. It doesn't matter where we are, where we go. YOU have the power and ability to choose whatever path whatever adventure YOU want to go on and home will always be home. The Astronaut is so symbolic of the things Jin loves..Bangtan..Army. But to me it is also a reflection of life itself. About acceptance, self realization, awareness of how the environment has shaped you, yet knowing that some things will remain the same. The way Jin is constantly looking at the Earth with awe and warmth whether as the Astronaut or the Moon..life took him in a certain direction with a force so real so strong and unexpected. He knows there are other things he must see and do, he has to go, but a piece of him will always stay, and he will come back. This was the PERFECT song for Army but also for himself, the boys, for the past present and future. Thank you Coldplay, thank you Kim Seokjin we will always be here. There is no one else I feel this way I've never felt. Army we are so lucky💜

The tattoo on his neck is braille for ARMY. I was definitely crying with you. I am so proud of Jin and the rest of the guys for keeping control of their own lives and decisions, and I know that they are doing what is right and what they need to do. But the truth is that I am going to miss them all so much, and especially Jin, who is just particularly dear to me. At first, when Jin was sitting near his crushed ship, there were no trees around him, but later, when his ship restored and sent a signal, the trees around it had already grown. it takes a minimum of 10 years for trees to grow, so maybe the little girl is around 10 years old and represents the ARMYs who were named after us on July 9, 2013, so soon we will also be 10 years old loli love the message of the video. seokjin teaching her to ride a bike (and how the pictures of her learning and of him riding were placed next to each other... giving her his helmet which he smashed into the dirt just before he planned to leave her so that she could be safe in the future. but once he had the chance to leave, he couldn't because he realized that his home is no longer a place, but his loved ones, this girl who is happy to be his friend, doesn't think so either. It just so happens that the car that stopped to help you take it back to the girl is a truck. A truck car has been a constant symbol in the BTS mvs since 2015 and I believe its meaning has already crossed the limits of the fictional universe it was always a symbol of the friendship between the 7 and jin was always the one driving with the other boys inside. now it's taking him home. At last he finds in the puzzle the words "ASTRONAUTS, FAMILY AND ARMY", where he fulfilled as a human being. Congratulations Jin for the work of a rte. I LOVE YOU BTS. 😍👏👏👏👏👏💜💜💜😭😭

The story of the mv is that Jin is from another planet and has crash landed on earth. While waiting for the day he can return he spends time on earth. He is doing a crossword in the beginning but in unable to finish it. The room has pictures that little girl drew. Also, chris martin was the news anchor haha. He builds a connection with the little girl (army or members). He teaches her to ride a bike and smiles when he sees that she will be okay on her own when he leaves. He sees the light and is eager to return to his planet. He gives his helmet to the little girl. On his journey and throughout the mv Jin doesn't smile much, he wonders aimlessly, people pass by him, and no attention is given to him. On the way there are many stop signs (a sign he should turn back). While riding the bike he is remising the memories he has made with the little girl, the happy times and the love. Once he gets to the ship he has an epiphany that he doesn't want to leave. He has found his little heaven on earth, a family, someone waiting for him. On the way back he smiles. Finally, he is back doing the crossword is finally able to finish it with the word family. He smiles for the 3rd time when he hears the bell. The whole MV is Jins goodbye or see you soon. He is telling army that while he may be gone, he is going to come back and will cherish the memories until then.

honestly i still can't watch this mv without crying, there's something so comforting in the way jin portrays this need to leave but a promise to return always. and knowing the little girl represents army (and maybe even bts/the other members!), the way she teaches him how to enjoy his new life on earth, and at the very end you can hear the bell of her bike, showing that she was there, waiting for him to come back home. this mv is perfection.

He is such a pure and innocent soul who’s also caring, loving and considerate young man that I only wish the best for him in everything he does. Jin is an alien astronaut who crash landed on earth. He lives with this family but then he sees on the news about the light then sees it from his window and knows his space ship is ready to go. He has to run to it but then he thinks about the life he made on earth and changes his mind that earth is now his home. He hitches the first ride he can back to home. The little girl represents Army and the other members. He doesn't leave in the first place until he knows they will be ok without him hence her riding her bike on her own. Note the purple bike and helmet. Jin will always come back to us because we are his home. This hits me in all the feels in light of him going off to military.

Basically he is from another planet.you can say he is a astronaut or alien.as the song name is astronaut you can say he is the astronaut .he crash landed to earth & then stayed here for a while for waiting to fix his spaceship..by this time he met this girl..who obviously represents his loved ones army members family...& then the light was the sign of fixing of his spaceship..so he get ready to go back to his planet...and then when he was on his way to back to the spaceship he recall the memory of his time living in the earth..with the girl(Army,Members,Family)..then when the spaceship get fixed he decided not to go & coming back to us...😢😢😢 So the moral is... He will be back...
