Yes we have all of the techniques everyone else has and this noise you refer to isnt part of all okinawan karate and only 1 style of Japanese karate. Bit if you onew what this breathing technique is for, you might appreciate it.

@@chriscooper8210 yes uechi Ryu, goju Ryu goju kai, the naha te variety does. No shorin Ryu of all 4 main systems dont do it I'm Matsubayashi ryu primarily but have trained in a few other styles.

@Robert Baker how does your branch of shorin differ from the others? There's at least 4 main branches of shorin if im not mistaken. We have a school that teaches kobayashi shorin ryu in my town so I was curious about how it differs.
