Ken was a great mid card talent. When I think of the term “mid card” Shamrock is the first person to come to mind. Before him, you had your top guys, bottom guys and tag teams. You didn’t have actual mid card guys until Shamrock. He was a great in ring talent but he wasn’t WWF Champion material solely for the fact that he wasn’t good at promos at all. There’s a reason you don’t see many clips of him on the mic. I love Shamrock too. But he wasn’t ready.
@amanpretbasuita2725Ай бұрын
@@DavisD814 Bam Bam Bigelow, Ricky Steamboat, Jake the Snake, Razor Ramon, Mr. Perfect, Owen Hart, Rick Rude & Roddy Piper off the top of my head came before Shamrock. Plenty of wrestlers helped bring the attitude era to its peak. And as much as I like Stone Cold and even DX... they weren't the only reason the attitude era was so good. Guess you forgot the Rock came up then as well.. APA and so on. While I understand those were the top guys in the company ... other than Undertaker ( also not mentioned) , since that's when the American badass schtick was born .... saying DX and stone cold were the reason for the era is both right and wrong. Without all the other players in WWF ( at the time) they wouldn't have had such success. Can't make heroes if you got no bad guys.* Or vice versa.
