No worries it's not going anywhere :) But actually you could think about making some "signature licks" themed videos explaining techniques and melodic ideas. I'd guess having done 150 videos on solos might give you the information you need for that.

if you listen very carefully to the beginning of the solo after the dim 5th intro.. slow it down it's played in gallops 12-15-14-12---17-15-12----15-14-12--- the rhythm is in sixteenth notes, not groups of 6. the last note of each grouping (E) is tied to another (E). The distinction is clear when you slow it down and it's a very subtle difference from your version. I can't even play either version, but I did notice this slight difference in your version for some reason.. Anyways, this is a great lesson and I've enjoyed all of your lessons so far. Thanks for doing these videos.

this is relatively easy compared to some of hammetts other solo shit. damage, dyers, shortest straw, trapped under ice...even master of puppets was difficult

Mustaine's impact might have influenced Kirk? At that time of the "No life till Leather Demo" Mustaine playing was pretty original. He was shredding before many of the other greats were.

Practice it to a metronome. Lower it to a comfortable speed, then speed it up a little each time you get it.
