Love this channel. Not only are you an epic teacher, but you show us songs that nobody else on KZbin does, as opposed to the same 40 rock and metal songs that every one and their mother seems to know. Thank you!!!

All right! That was great! I love this band! If you ever get a chance, I'd love to see the solos for Iron Maiden's "Strange World". I've been hunting and pecking, but there are some trill bits that are too fast for my ears. Thanks again for all your help!

do you have any good rules for playing a 3 note sequence on same fret with 1st 2nd 3rd vs 1st 2nd 4th finger ...I tend to stick to rule of one fret one finger but I see a lot of guitarists using 3rd when you get to a certain point up the fret board (around 12th). you use both depending on fret and string...just randomly or do you apply some rule?

Nice man! You nailed it except you're playing one note too much, which is the last note of the lick at 3:07. Subscribed, keep it up! :)

This guys vibrato is literally non existent....sounds stale as fuck 😂
@PatrickSheets11 жыл бұрын
^ I think your comment is actually what is stale. It is what it is, and regardless, a good lesson anyway--quit hatin huh?
@smokinvalves10 жыл бұрын
So true. It's a VERY useful lesson in terms of frets and notes, but the wide vibrato that Russ/Satchel does is emotionally key to the simple parts, both for the player and the listener.
