Another thing to note is that Kinetic tremors (especially enhanced KT) WILL activate in PvP and is good on this weapon. Optimal TTK is 10-11 shots. Enhanced KT activates on the 11th shot and instantly does 30 inescapable damage. This basically hard caps your TTK at a little less than 0.8s unless you’re way out of range. It’s basically a way batter version of target lock. This is 100% a perk roll to chase (I like it w DSR, but Heating Up and Killing Wind also work) because youre rarely hitting optimal with these things without a perk like heating up running.

Yes! I was just about to comment the same thing. 9c2b can be difficult. Even with a max range roll you're not even hitting 30m. You need Killing Wind if you want to hit passed 30m which honestly wouldn't be a bad pair with KT (maybe DSR too). With KT on the 11th round you're doing an instant 20 damage with obviously no damage fall off. It they stand within the shockwave they're taking even more hits. IMO as the origin trait on top of the intrinsic reload scalar of Rapid-Fire frames when you reload on an empty mag, you don't really NEED subsistence. Sure its very nice to have but the reload speed it provides you without any perks imo makes the reload fast enough that you do not need it. If you get Alloy Mag that's another Scalar that scales based on how long your mag gets starting from 50%. All in all, Perk of choice + KT and you're good to go in pretty much both PvP and PvE. Which is great because my vault space can't handle multiple rolls lol.

Don't sleep on Kinetic Tremors FOR PVP PURPOSES. It takes 11 shots to activate when enhanced. You know how many bullets it takes to kill in PvP? Ten. If you land just one bodyshot, if you miss just one bullet, kinetic tremors WILL activate in your gunfight. It's literally just a free 21 damage explosion for every fight you're in.

I’ve got a accurized/dynamic sway/kinetic tremmers roll and I love it the tremmers come in clutch so much more often than I thought they would,specifically on this 720 and if you masterwork it like I did it’s even more frequent and even though it isn’t the current meta it just feels good and I love it! I can’t stress that enough. I literally have a smile on my face while I’m using it lol I’m talking d1 vibes. I loved it 3yrs ago but it is so much better with its origin trait now! Worth noting that the T10 ttk is the same as the enhanced kinetic tremors activation so it has some niche application there as a forgiveness perk and I'd probably use it over target lock or ttt on M&K.

Only Tremors roll I've gotten is with Tunnel Vision but I can confirm that when you enhance it, the tremors come very fast and it's even caught some people in PvP of guard.

Finally someone done an updated video on this one, as if I needed it to begin with. This is currently the best kinetic tremors weapon. I intentionally don't run surges and push damage falloff just so I could have more chances to activate it.

I wish Chroma Rush had some better PvE options in the third column for endgame tbh. Even something like Keep Away for the added range and accuracy would be nice. Rewind Rounds, Demo, Pugilist or even Attrition Orbs would have been perfect. My dream roll would have been Onslaught AND Kinetic Tremors. I don’t know if we will ever see this combo but it would be AMAZING.

@ yeah those perks are fine but are all inconsistent to proc in endgame content. Honestly, DSR is probably my top pick in the left column besides maybe subsistence as it helps stay on target for kinetic tremor procs and does not require a kill to activate.

I love this thing in PvE, I already have 2400 kills with mine. I got one with smallbore, tactical mag, dynamic sway, kinetic tremors, and a reload masterwork. Being a rapid fire frame, it has the intrinsic 0.8x reload scalar on an empty mag, and when combined with the origin trait, I think a 3rd column reload perk is actually kind of a waste. It gives you more than enough reload as it is, I think a stat boosting perk like dynamic sway pairs perfect with it, even in PvE.

What I really want to see is the GoS bow, Accrued Redemption, that can roll with archer's tempo and kinetic tremors with elastic string, a draw time masterwork, and the new Tension weapon mod. It's our first kinetic bow with kinetic tremors, and can reach a 415.5 ms draw speed as a precision frame. Additionally, enhanced kinetic tremors procs with just two crits for this bow.

I think this reprised Chroma Rush is the main reason why Steelfeather didn’t return last season. It wouldn’t make sense to reprise two banger-tier kinetic AR’s from the same archetype in back-to-back seasons. The two rifles are very similar.

I love the juxtaposition of CoolGuy’s words and actions at 6:50 . He’s describing Chroma Rush as a “hybrid SMG”, implying it’s more of a CQC weapon, compared to other Auto Rifles. This thing is insane. I got a role with hammer forged, extended mag, sub/tremors. With back up mag its 60 rounds and the origin trait makes it reload like a side arm with Hunter and flowstate.

I was lucky enough to get the Fluted + Extended Mag + Subsistence + Kinetic Tremors roll. with backup mag it can go upto 70 bullets in the mag and it feels extremely smooth and crisp to use. can't praise this weapon enough

I been using kinetic tremors and dynamic sway (lowest recoil direction) and it feels like a laser! The mag is massive, so easy to get tremors going. I want rolls with killing wind for the extra range

kinda the same criticism as with the werewolf video, i wish youdve talked about target lock. target lock is great on these, you mentioned the faster ttk only being resilience tier9 and below, but neglected to mention that that ttk shift gets fixed by target lock. apart from that, great video, and i understand you prefer weapons like that to be used as kill chaining, kinda like an 180 hc, but i think theres some dueling potential with target lock. edit: was not meant as hate, i dont agree with the negative responses, was meant as hobest criticism, because i value targetlock highly. no hate here tho

My best one is hammer forged, accurized, range master work. Killing with and Target Lock, would have preferred kill clip but the gun just feels really really good. And it sneaks up on people, they try and fight you from further out but it has a lot of reach for what it is.

rampage IS a ttk shift on these rapid fires. heating up, rampage is the roll i like best because that way im not wasting my heating up timer trying to reload for kill clip.

I've loved Chroma Rush since Splicer, I want to get some drops that'll mirror my old rolls, or at least be close. The origin trait is SO GOOD it cannot be said enough. Gridskipper is the only rapid-fire I like, and I couldn't tell you why..I just love the feel. Now, just hand over Farewell, and we'll be golden.

KT seems to proc really quickly and it's such an easy, forgiving gun to use across the board. I still have my Splicer-era Sub/Rampage, and heck, I'd still run that one if I could enhance it!

I would almost call Frenzy a waste on this weapon since part of the main strength of that perk is getting +100 reload without a kill requirement on top of the damage, but the Origin Trait basically does the reload already and with a scaler to boot.

Dood I got an absolute banger in one of my first few runs of contest of elders. Friken fullbore or smallbore, accurized, range mw, dsr, tap. I never really messed with these types of guns too many times before but holy sh$&@$ even with fullbore its doesnt move and Im on ps5 like Im blown away how easy and consistent this thing is. The ttk is so illegal too at base like I feel like I can just challenge ppl like an idiot and still win. Im a hc main so just running in and ACTUALLY ttk’ing somone no matter what gun they have is a GREAT feeling cuz if I do that with a hc I’m usually dead 😂.

I've loved this gun since it dropped in splicer! Subsistence rampage makes it a pure bullet hose! Rapid fire auto's are special. Chroma rush and gridskipper are also great in pvp. Giving us the option to get these guns outside of dares now is nice, plus the option to enhance

Kinetic Tremors does feel great, like we all expected, but i cant see myself using it when Huckleberry's right there, with a better Subsistence, exotic damage and pre-nerf Rampage all on top of Kinetic Tremors (assuming you have the catalyst). Yes it take the exotic slot, but im not exactly using an exotic heavy or special these days with legend GLs dominating (especially this season).

I've nabbed a Heating Up + Frenzy roll and it replaced my OG Heating Up + Rampage I had 10k kills on. While these days I prefer an exotic Primary, I'll certainly be putting atleast another 10k on a Chroma Rush, if not more. The accuracy benefits of heating up x2 is still lesser to Firmly Planted in the accuracy cone size. Heating up only beats FP at bloom and only at x2

I been using a dynamic sway/target lock In trials. Its soo good. I got the heating up/kill klipp in my vault. need to try that. Got killing wind/kinetic for pve I love this gun. I got some really good rolls for pvp on the riposte, with better stats then my chroma. Its good but my chroma just feels and performs a bit better

I haven't really been liking kinetic tremors in general. when I want to clear ads they die before the proc but when I use it in gms its barely tickle damage. its weird with how it works on the extreme ends of difficulty, better focusing bigger targets and the tremors is the added bonus of ad clear.

Got a sub/frenzy roll that I love for pve. Outside of stasis builds or champ coverage, if I need a legendary kinetic primary, Chroma's my pick. And I only exclude stasis builds because Fair Judgement is just goated for stasis
