After 10 years of detailing cars, i must add some simple stuff, but important ones. Simple as knee pads to protect your knees, or to sit on it when you work on the lower parts of the car (Or an elevator). Gloves, with cushion pads to reduce the vibrations from your polishers. Preferably some headphones with active noise cancelling, because believe me, after some years, you're gonna hate the sound of your tools. These were all simple stuff but good for your health on a long term. Keep up the good work, and "let it shine" 😁

Would love to see an interior video! It's awesome to see a how a consistent setup yields such amazing results and it's not so much the products that you need but the knowledge to use them. When I first started I was so overwhelmed and focused with what would give me the best results. In reality it didn't really come down to the specific products and you don't need 1,000 different products to achieve great results. Your channel helped me focus on that!

As a former coach, one of the first things I learn, is the KISS principle. "Keep It Simple Stupid" And you my friend, has kept it simple. A few other things I consider when choosing product are costs, and where the product is made. Since I live in the States, I like to purchase "Made in the USA" products, or at least from American companies. The other is costs, for me, my goal is to buy the best product at fair or reasonable prices when possible. To get the "Most Bang for the Buck"! Thank you for your videos, keep up the great work!

Great video as always. I know EXACTLY what you mean about the fateful 'Rabbit Hole" when it comes to detailing products. My wife tells me all the time, "that damn garage has taken on a life of it's own!". And......well......she's right. It's crazy how many KZbin videos on detailing there is these days. Literally thousands upon thousands, many reviewing a lot of the same products. A lot of people get it into their minds immediately after watching "I have to get that product as fast as I can". Well.....this is exactly what the detailing products companies want you to do too! That's why they pay many KZbinr's to "review" (almost always in a very POSTIIVE" light) their products. Or at least send them the product for free to "review it" for them. It's fantastic advertising for the product companies, hence the word "INFLUENCER". I must admit, I fell into this trap MANY times. I am starting to see the light. I still like trying new products, absolutely, but I am starting to "narrow down" the products in my garage to stuff I actually use on a frequent basis. How many foam cannons do you really need? Answer......ONE, a good one. The same could be said for every single product in detailing. Find a great product....stick with it and...use it as intended. You don't need 40 different ceramic detailers, spray waxes, tire cleaners, snow foams, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc......you need ONE.....a good one. That pressure washer set up is SWEET!! Love that thing. Damn.....there goes that wallet getting thinner......again.
@ChromaticGarage3 жыл бұрын
Hahaha I completely agree Joe! Most of the time people will receive products for free. On the influencers side of things it allows them to create content for free. They're typically thinking about themselves in the sense that they get to make a video. It's not necessarily about trying to sell people on stuff. Just doing what they enjoy. Trying stuff and getting to do so for free while potentially growing their online business. I think its pretty cool to be honest.

@xpogosam96903 жыл бұрын
As someone who’s had the G8 and G9 and now has a G15 you’ll be very happy with them! I’ve used the Rupes machines extensively as well and I honestly think that the griots ones are better. The removable cord is a game changer and makes the process of correction much less cluttered since you only really need one cable for both machines. For the price you can’t beat the G9. I bumped up to a G15 because I got used to 15mm of throw at my old employer using the Rupes lhr15. The G9 and G8 won’t do you wrong!

Solid lineup man 😎 expected nothing less though 😂 Ugh the things I’d do for a Rupes setup 😔💔 got to test one from a friend of mine, and immediately needed one in my life. Out of every tool I still want to pick up so I can upgrade my current tools, the Rupes is so much further ahead of everything it’s ridiculous… of course a pressure washer/water filtration setup like yours would be amazing ** (or the dream setup of homie over at Ammo with his ridiculous Frankenstein build his friend did for him 😂 all of the best of the best pieced together with swapped out stronger o-rings and fittings)** BUT the Rupes polishers are just those tools that takes your cutting/polishing and overall finished work, and efficiency to such an insane level over everything else I’ve ever used.
