I've always loved this style of wheel. On cars, the alfa steelies, and on SUVs these almost have a military style or old school Camel Trophy vibe. Their other two models have a Compomotive look, which I love as well. Cool company.

I found some Clearance Gunmetal BBS's on TireRack with some on sale Goodyear 275-70-18's. There will be some rocker cutting... Someone sold a Cayenne with a set of them on Bring a trailer not long ago. They look OK, but maybe not entirely off-roady.

That’s awesome Bryan! They were probably so ahead of their time when they came out. I had originally booked it to get dry ice blasted, painted and then honey sealed but it was about $2800+ tax and doesn’t exactly make me money when someone else is doing it. So I’m currently in the planning stages of what to do there! It’s really just the subframes that need addressing, and then some sort of protectant

Ya totally. When the Touareg was released it truly was a spaceship. Even to this day I believe the Touareg and the Cayenne are more technically advanced and far more superior than anything else on the Market. I hope you make a video on the future coating option you go with. Until then I’ll tune in and watch the Cayenne’s progress 👊 Ironically mine is at Volkswagen for major service at 175,000 miles. OEM Radiator OEM Timing Belt Kit OEM Water pump OEM Coolant temp sensors x2 OEM Tensioner OEM Thermostat Serpentine Belt Can’t wait to get it back and head to Tahoe for the 2023-2024 Snowboarding season 😏
