I wish I had checked out your video before I spent three days trying to connect to my soundbar. I called my iPhone carrier, Apple, Time warner, LG all in one desktop...you get the idea. All of them passed the buck and I was ready to pull my hair out. I finally got on the phone with someone from Chrome and he was very helpful yet my issue with Bluetooth was not resolved. He actually spent the most time trying to help me out! He told me that he'd continue working on fixing the problem and bam I have a connection this morning. This happened after the latest update. Your video, however, might have saved me the frustration. :) Thank you so much .

I have an Acer Chromebook and experienced a problem where I disconnected my wifi, then I tried to turn on again but it would not connect to the public network anymore. I kept trying to connect but I was redirected to log in to a page that would not load. This is at a University so the internet is Public you do not need a log in. I did a Powerwash on Chromebook and it still would not work. After following steps in this video at home and then bringing the Chromebook back the problem was fixed. SO THANK YOU !

The direction of the top of a slash determines when it is called a forward or back slash. In your example, at 1:16, where you called it a back slash, it is a forward slash. Windows uses backslashes for paths, while everything else seems to use forward slashes. Cordially,

what if it says network CONNECTED with wlan IP address and subnet, both correct, but there is no internet? Only on chromebook, not on other notebooks.

Did the resets, the went to settings and you said click Wi-Fi network settings. Well mine says 'Disabled'. And when i click it, it does nothing. It picks up no Wi-Fi signals at all.

I power washed mine, which and resets everything. That worked for a while then lost connection and would not connect again. Kept saying wifi out of range. NOT. So I have had to power wash 3 time in 2 hours. Trying to find a solution.
