also, what exactly did he mean when he said “you have to nudge your drum samples” in the piano roll. How so? Forward? Back? Anyway you could get them to talk more about the nudging part of it. It would be great to get some more information on this. If you’ve heard their beats, they’re absolutely amazing.

I'm assuming it's to add "swing" without adding true swing to it. It gives it a more human feel.
