I wish i could find doctor like you. Someone not only knowledgeable, but sincere! I live in Guam (tho im not actually from here) and have been desperately seeking SOMEONE who will HELP me! I never really recovered after being hospitalized in Sept. 2021 with covid pneumonia, Deta variant, and within the past year i literally feel like the life is being drained from me. My labs are all over the place and i have so many random symptoms that i just keep getting tossed around and told "everything looks fine". Im a single mom literally raising my 5yr old alone (haven't had one single day "off" in over 2 years! Not even a few hours! Ever!) My urine was positive for blood, bacteria, protein, rbc, and epithelial squamous cells, to which the first doctor said "huh, we gotta figure out why there's blood in your urine", then never scheduled any follow up tests or even an appointment! And the second doctor said it had to be an "unclean catch", to tho it said on the report CLEAN CATCH, and he too never ordered any additional tests to see. Tho he DID order ANA and it came back >8 IU positive for Epstein Barr IgG , and it said 1.1 was considered positive. So, mine was high, and he suggested i have chronic Epstein Barr which "causes" chronic fatigue, and possibly long covid, and said no further tests were necessary, but never have me a diagnosis. Told me there's nothing they can do. Now I'm visibly peeing blood, I've been pooping blood randomly for over a year, now, my hair is falling out, i have waxy crust that's all but covered my scalp, i have this red rash that looks like tiny clusters of mini red ringworm that's been spreading over my body in patches, and the fatigue is debilitating!!!! I can't physically even stand up to shower anymore and have to walk to the grocery store with my boy whenever we need supplies and that wipes me out for days sometimes! Yet the last doctor filled out the form stating that i can work, so i can't even get any help from the government. My mom just died on September 24th after battling with cancer and not only was i physically unable to even think of flying to be with her, i simply could not afford to fly and couldn't get any help. My grandpa had lupus and when i told the second doctor, he assured me i don't have lupus and wrote me a prescription for anti anxiety and anti depression meds!?! My eGFR literally dropped from 83 in nov 2023, to 72 in march of 2024 to 53 in aug of 2024, and who knows how much more since? I feel like I'm dying and nobody will listen, or believe me because i don't "look sick" whatever that means! What happened to doctors becoming doctors because they wanted to help people!?! Is me dying what its gonna take for someone to take the time and listen to me? And who even cares anyway apparently? My poor little boy. What has this world come to? 😔

I've had EBV chronic active EBV for almost 7 years after a flu virus. My IgM is always raised and has never gone back dormant. my lymphocytes are raised. CD19 b cells. Then the PCR is positive too with atypical lymphocytes in blood smears. Had three major reactivations lasting 4-6 months leaves me bed ridden. I get no help from doctors. I'm in the UK. I have POTS as well diagnosed since it all started. Not ME. Don't get post exertional malaise.

Wow, you sounds just like me, I have had positive EBV igm for 9 years, diagnosed with me cause I am bedridden. I also have high white blood cells. I do not think I have ME, I think I have chronic EBV. I live in Norway and unfortunately the doctors here doesn’t seem to know very much about EBV. This is no life!

There are great treatment options for EBV (SOT treatments, UVBI etc), but it completely depends on what YOUR specific immune system needs. We all come to health challenges for a very unique set of complex reasons so I would not be able to tell you in a video what to do exactly, other than general suggestions, because it completely depends on factors such as diet, lifestyle, emotional wellbeing, genetics, bloodwork--also would need to know if there are other viruses, fungus or bacteria that you may have. ​@@cathsrqyes, EBV high. Hundreds of checks done. All perfect. Only herpes 1, 2, 4 very high and IgE over 2000. The pain of joints, muscles, headaches, temp highest 71,3, extreme exhaustion, mental fog, rashes. Coming and going. In extreme case i was visiting my family doctor for 8 years living in Germany. Issue closed with supposed FIBROMIALGIA. In the end I was offered a "nice stay" in a hospital for mentally ill people as I was accused for imagining the pain and symptoms. Then moved to Spain in 2022. Spanish doctors appeared to be more emphatic and started deepwr blood checks, usg of my organs, Xrays. All perfect, only herpes and IgE high. The final sentence from my family doctor "Well EBV is very common, nothing serious, no worry". I was offered some painkillers and tranquilizers. But if course, I dig deeper, and that's how I saw your channel. I have already a good knowledge on EBV and how to manage the pain and deal with the virus. Still... sometimes I am knocked out by the extreme pain and exhaustion. It is terrifying how the European medicine is disregarding the virus, and the patients... personally I see it as a silent pandemia devastating people's health across the world. Much more triggered by the Co◇|d & flu vaccines.

Do you take patients? I live in Norway but am willing to travel for help. I have been almost 100 bedridden for 9 years. My bloodwork shows positive EBV IGM, and has been positive for 9 years. I have also high leukocytes, and fever. This is no life. I have been given an ME diagnosis but I don’t think it’s ME. I think I can get better if EBV is treated.

You can most certainly get better, it really is a matter of identifying the root causes of these symptoms. I often see that patients have more than just EBV, so identifying what your immune system is working with first is the best plan and then devising a treatment plan.
