Good job. The content is impressive. 12:30 calcium gluconate is NOT a potassium lowering agent. We give it to protect the heart from hyperkalemia. I should also mention that Niacin Vitamin b3 is also a very good choice as a phosphate binder .

@np-sh1ll
@np-sh1ll 10 ай бұрын
1. blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and estimated glomular filtration rate (eGFR) are usually a routine part of a blood test. 2. (non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs) NSAID include ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen, celecoxib… and aninoglycosides are a type of antibiotic

Nice video with the exception of the naming of "clients" instead of patients. Health is not everywhere a business, and sick people are not simply consumers of services - at least not from a humanitarian point of view. It's standard Osmosis practice, but it's really a stain on your fantastic work.

Beautiful perspective I share with you. In a video regarding kidney disease, the term "patient" is absolutely appropriate. The term "client" is more appropriately suited for a PERSON who is using the services of a counselor as opposed to a clinician. As well as a healthy person who is utilizing services for preventative measures such as annual checkups. I will always describe any PERSON as a patient and would only refer to said patient as client if that was their preference.

Patient * not client . This is medicine!

The NCLEX uses “client” so educational programs are trying to use the name language that they’ll see on the licensure exam. Someone somewhere decided it was better than “patient” 🤔

A client is the one who is patient of the underlying causes of the dis-ease !

I think it should have stated just refer to a renal dietitian for total nutrition instead of a nurse advising on foods.

My gfr has been in the 20 to 30. For over a year now. My doctor didn't seemed not to alarm about it.
