Miss Isma Iqbal is a Consultant Rhinologist & ENT Surgeon at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Trevor, a retired Chartered Building Surveyor, has lived with Chronic Rhinosinusitis for 10 years.
Trevor shares his personal story, the impact the condition has on his quality of life, and how he copes with it in his daily life. Miss Iqbal explains about the condition, symptoms and the causes, diagnosis, patient management and current treatment options, research into the condition and potential future treatments. She also shares some self-help ideas for patients with CRS. The presentations are followed by a Q&A with Miss Iqbal.
