Final Fantasy XIV is a massive game with thousands of hours of content. What I'm gonna do here is break down some of the major plot points for those of you who wanna know more about Eorzea but may not have time to experience it all first hand. Today we're picking up with part 3 of the Shadows of Mhach storyline from Heavensward.

Much as people scorn the concept of "outside of game" lore like books and web posts, some of the history of Hydaelyn is so interesting that I wish there more stuff I could read or see. In the game they do a great job, but there's just so! much! lore! It makes me intensely curious to know more and more.

The only thing I wish FFXIV would copy from WoW are the different novels expanding obscure lore. The game has so much depth that a few books would be great as long as they weren't mandatory if you wanted to fully grasp the game's story.

You know what this is all making me realize... As much as I love the idea of the Firmament becoming the next housing district, I'd really love instanced floating island houses... You'd fix FFXIV's stupidly broken housing system and give people the most awesome houses. But anyways, great video as always! Can't wait to see what you do next!

Turning those unused floating islands into massive floating compounds would be amazing especially if you could set up your own Gold Saucer style events at your place for your friends.
