lol well you have mentioned you couldn't wait for hay season to start, so being busy is good and understandable, esp. with how many bales you and Jason make and sell. Good luck with the corn planting. As to Nicole's funeral, I think it was sad for a lot of us who didn't know her personally because we felt like we kind of knew her thru her videos, and we could empathize with what her family and loved ones must be feeling at the unexpected loss of one so young and so full of life. True though, as Chet mentioned in his video tribute to Nicole, life doesn't stop moving forward, prayer helps, each day is a blessing, and we will get thru this together. Stay safe, be well, and stay blessed.

Hey y’all, you’re right there’s nothing like fresh cut alfalfa hay and it’s baled. I loved it when my dad would make hay, cutting, raking, and bailing. We did small squares like you but we did it old school had to handle every bale twice. Loading up in the field and unloading it in the barn. Stay safe and God bless
@ChroniclesofKayla
@ChroniclesofKayla 3 жыл бұрын
Thankfully we don’t buck bales very often. When we do - we are extremely grateful for the machines we have. If we didn’t have them. No way we could do the volume of hay we do!! On average we put up 1200-2000 a day.

The bolts DIDNOT break .... it was crazy.... Jason’s very handy! We’ve learned how to time the thing in about an hour now - watch for “part 2” of us fixing it together in the field that day and finish out with a win! Thanks for watching.

So you must sell your hair how much you get per bail.. and does the tractor and equipment do all the work and you just drive them. Sounds like a job I wouldn’t mind having... we do that here in Nevada. I have ranchers that by a friend of mine that’s why I was wondering what the cost was..

I always love tagging along with y'all. I'm curious, how much do your small square bales weigh? In my way younger days I bucked many a small square bale and some of them weren't very light, and yours look to be quite tight so they must weigh pretty good. You don't have any problem at all handling them.

Thanks so much for watching!!! Bales are about 55-65# mostly 58-60. Our Equine buyers like tight but lighter bales. We also have to watch how heavy they are with the tie grabber. They get too heavy and it’ll nose dive
