I pray that your father gets better. I believe that Haitians need to take pride of Vodun and not be ashamed of it. My views of Christianity isn’t traditional! Like I don’t believe that God is going to come and save us, and I don’t believe that he died for our sins. I believe that God wants us to have a human experience and to learn the good the bad and the ugly and have us experience it. Just like God incarnated into Jesus to let us know he knows what it’s like to be human. If we need help or something we go to God in prayer, and if God is busy, ask our ancestors for help! God is busy judging people that passed on. Like I said my view of Christianity isn’t traditional. Anyways I do wish that Haitians wouldn’t leave, and fight and stand up and fix their nation. I have faith in them! I would like to visit one day the culture and history is just so rich and wealthy. They’re the blueprint. The First Nation in the world to succeed to fight and abolish chattel slavery. I would be so proud to be Haitian. But I feel the same way with a lot of these African countries to having these colonizing countries stop stealing their resources so they can build themselves up.

The creator gave us this life and these physical bodies for us to learn, grow and evolve to a higher level of wisdom and frequency. Therefore, there is no concept of original sin, a devil or hell. I walked away from Voodoo 27 years ago and took my walk with Jesus. I never regretted it though I was harassed by some dark entities for a few months afterwards. I have had a peace since I had never know and most of all I noticed I became patient. When I was into Voodoo I never had patience and if you crossed me I would get even - not anymore.

Christianity teaches forgiveness. My beef with Christianity is that it manifests as the opposite extreme. I think practices that hasten spiritual vengeance like hexing or cursing could be referred to as "fast karma" belief systems while Christianity and Abrahamic religions that save torment or reward for after your death in heaven or hell are "slow karma" belief systems. Maybe Hinduism with reincarnation would be like a "perpetual karma" belief system since they are the originators of that belief in karma being results of past life actions, while in America a d Europe people appropriated karma as a shorthand for "what comes around goes around" in this current life. I'm not gonna tell anyone this or that path is better or worse, but I think in a practical sense we can all learn patience for some situations / let God work it out, while in other situations you need to be the justice when the law and luck fails a sense of true fairness. But people just gotta be careful and not go overboard. But I really hate how Christianity colonized and disempowered people away from their ancestral practices of spiritual empowerment/energetic justice. People leaving Christianity a lot now is payback for that legacy.
