The crazy thing about this beautiful soundtrack is that unlike final fantasy i didn't grow up playing chrono trigger but i've known about it most of my life, yet somehow through wanting to play old school ds games i ended up playing chrono trigger and i've been absorbed into the game, its pretty much all i think about So for me listening to this song is a full circle moment because it brought me towards playing chrono trigger and that simply is a beautiful thing.

I played this when it first came out and when I got to the forest part (yep tune starts in the forest) I kinda just froze for a moment, then did what I had to do and got out. A very small part of the game. The next day I was thinking of the tune and it took forever to rediscover the location but I did and stayed in the forest for a long time. Finished the game and was glad it got a ton of accolades but kept thinking but what about that song??? At least once a year I go searching for the tune on KZbin. Can't remember the superior game but I can't get this otherworldly song ever out of my mind...yea
