I agree with all of the comments. Well done. I am a guitar player from Cleveland originally and responded to an ad. Back in 1982 the 3 metal band were Breaker, Shock Paris and Ivory Hall. My audition was with Breaker, Armed and Ready and Let it Roll. I learned both songs in a week ( when they wanted me there) and Only you can Rock Me which they did not know. They were huge Schenker fans and I got the gig and had a great time. I left 6 months later to start my own original band.Playing all of the cover songs were great and it really helped me to learn as much about Michael Schenker. Personally I am so grateful that he started UFO. I know that his brother Rudolph really put the screws to Michael but Rudolph always went to Michael for songs like Holiday and Coast to Coast. Michael by far one of the greatest musicians did so much to help the Scorpions which I really like. When Matthias came in he gave the Scorpions the perfect balance of melodies in their songs with out commercially ruining their band.every time they played in Cleveland I was there. They played great outdoor venues and sounded great. Unfortunately the Cleveland Coliseum was not a great place because it ruined the sound of too many bands. The sound just bounced around the room and close to 30k people packed into the Coliseum. It was much better sounding when they played smaller outdoor concerts. I still listen to Michael Schenker as much as possible and agree that “ Strangers” is still one of the best flawless double live albums ever made.

I forgot how many different sounds and techniques used in songs from their time on, that came from these great musicians. When you listen to their stuff from the early 70's you can hear influences galore in even bands like WhiteSnake, etc. They were definitely innovators of styles and techniques in the heavy metal and prog rock sounds of today and back to their times, which were the early days of heavy metal, with prog being dominate in the mid to late 60's and early 70's. Amboy Dukes and King Crimson come to mind, then Styx, Yes, etc. Why are the great musician songwriter bands so few and far between nowadays... Oh, that's right, the majority wanted it easy so they just fire MIDI loops of players sounds, like this, to 'make' their music now which sounds like the plastic it is.

Schenker & Mogg would be good...but neither one has it like they used to. And the chemistry with this lineup was perfect...magical...like Van Halen, Led Zeplin, etc...and many other bands (except for the personality clashes). It's over. What we need is more quality videos like this one with this lineup and this era. I'm sure they have to have more than one song. I'd watch those videos over & over again. I've been listening to "Strangers" over & over again for 40 years now and have never tired of it. Led Zeplin called it quits when their drummer passed away because they said without John Bonham it would never be the same.
