Wow, those varieties you chose! Lava and satin ribbon, Rosedew are my favorites. I love pink and purples. I took a look at their site. All sold out for the 2023 season. ☹️ They do have a lot of interesting information about the mums. I’ve never grown heirloom before, just the regular ones. Looking forward to future updates on these!

Mums are very easy to propagate. Those are beautiful selections. I forgot where I heard about them (which channel on YT) but a few years ago I tried to order (COVID made them so busy) that they cut it off to existing customers only. Glad to see they are back to normal again and hopefully will have more available for just the casual customers to order. Look forward to seeing how these perform for you! I really like the spider ones, if I were to order those would be my first choice.

These are stunning and you provided a lot of helpful info. After watching one of your earlier videos I ordered heirloom chrysthaneums from Bluestone. First time growing them and have limited full sun areas but so far they are doing well. Will enjoy watching your progress with the cuttings.

Those are gonna be beautiful in arrangements bouquets 💐 I also haven’t had the best luck with dahlias. It may be sun exposed issues? Too Hot, too Much shade I get a lot Of foliage but not many blooms.

I bought three from Bluestone back in the spring. One has had a single bloom on it already and another has a large bud on it. I think (hope) they’ll get bigger and put on a large flush in the fall. But if not, definitely next spring. I’d love to add more varieties but not sure where I’d put them!

I went from two “grocery store” mums that were gifted to me to buying 20 from Halden since King mums was sold out, but I emailed them like you said and they actually had more! So I got a ton from them on top of the ones I already bought… oops 😅 my fall flower game is going to be strong! I’m curious how/when you plan on planting your cuttings-I’m still trying to decide this for myself in zone 9b CA sunset 14

I’m probably going to plant mid to late July … but truthfully, I’m playing it by ear right to because it really depends on how much root growth the cuttings put on.
