If the 300 is so iconic, why did Fiat and Stellantis treat it like an unwanted stepchild for the past seven years and neglect to advertise it? This is the car those of us who don't particularly care for the Charger Scat Pack wanted all along. And why no Dynamics Package, a̶c̶t̶i̶v̶e̶ ̶s̶u̶s̶p̶e̶n̶s̶i̶o̶n̶,̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶e̶x̶h̶a̶u̶s̶t̶? Edit: I stand corrected on the active suspension and exhaust. Nonetheless, it should have the Dynamics Package with the 275-width tires instead of the way too narrow 245s.

Financially it's not worth it for Chrysler to stick a hellcat engine in the 300C. It's easier for Chrysler to put the 392 in the 300C because they still make them Overseas. All Chrysler is doing is switching the Chrysler 300C from right hand to left hand drive for the Noth America market 👌👍
@joseantoniodiezlavin1982 жыл бұрын
Why would they put a hellcat engine in the 300 final edition? If you want a hellcat you can go ahead and buy a new one from Dodge. It wouldn't make any sense financially and market wise.

This is it for a final edition? This is a nice car but not crazy enough for a final edition. Needs a Hellcat motor, widebody, optional 6 speed manual, even put the twin turbo inline 6 in it. Do SOMETHING interesting. This is just some badges and a powertrain combo that already exists in this platform. This would be fine if they just kept building these as normal full production cars, as they should have this whole time. Chrysler is just giving up. Sad way to go out.

The 300 is truly iconic, and the Chrysler execs know that and how it’s strengthened the brand. That’s why they’ve spent the money they did in this last 2023 model and all the marketing expenses they did advertising this. But at the end of the day, for whatever reason, people nowadays want crossovers, not sedans. The sedan market isn’t profitable enough for Chrysler to continue or invest further in the 300. I’m excited for Chryslers future and looking forward to purchasing their new Airflow, as electric is where the market is being forced to go.

They don’t even mention the fact that all the 300s, Pacificas, and soon-to-be Airflows, are all built in Canada. And the fact that they still have 10x more going to the states compared to what’s going to Canada just hurts. Show Canada some love since you seem to use it as a slave Chrysler.
@02hockeystick192 жыл бұрын
The United States is where the cars are designed and created from scratch. New cars aren't the only ones we take from you. Our dealers import a lot of used ones from Canada too and most of them are rust buckets xD
@wildcard_7722 жыл бұрын
@@02hockeystick19 though I still do think the difference shouldn’t be a 10:1 ratio of US:Canada for sales. Maybe a 5:1 would be reasonable considering your point of how they are designed there and taking in to account the population difference.

I have been looking at the Australian SRT model in anticipation for this reveal and something about it doesn't sit right to me. It looks inferior the one that has been sold since 2015 like it gives off somehow less presence than the 300S and it reminds me of a base Charger R/T parked next to one with the Dynamics package. It just looks very simple and not impressive all things considered since it's pretty much the last "SRT" model that will exist.

Chrysler needs to offer a hydrogen-electric-ICE hybrid version of the 300C; and make it a serious luxury muscle car. Dropping it from the brand and going full EV will kill Chrysler; and with the EV's... it will kill the planet.
@liamm7342 жыл бұрын
Explain how a hydrogen-electric-ice car would even work? And the cost of developing it would make the price so high.
@MickPsyphon2 жыл бұрын
@@liamm734 RAM is already working on it for their HD pickup trucks. Hydrogen fuel cells go where the battery packs would normally go. They're used to generate electricity, real-time, to a smaller battery that can provide power to the electric motors driving the wheels. Depending on driving mode, the ICE could provide normal power (example: cruise control on the highway, or regular city driving); and the electric motors only kick in under acceleration, or when more power is required. In full hybrid mode, it would dramatically increase range and lower fuel consumption. Toyota is also working on it, because their against going full EV. They're committed to providing a superior Hydrogen hybrid alternative. Btw, a company in British Columbia has developed a zero emission, clean burning fuel, which can be used in ICE vehicles currently on the road. There's simply no need to drive the wagon train into the apocalypse that EV's are going to drag us to... except to line the pockets of a small Kabal of greedy people with trillions $$$$.
